Kealakekua Bay
Strap on your snorkel gear and get ready to jump into the warm waters for the swim of a lifetime. Departing from Honokohau Harbor, join us for this 4 hour morning reef snorkel while we motor down the beautiful Kona Coast to Kealakekua Bay, one of Hawaii’s most renowned marine sanctuaries. Kealakekua Bay is a protected bay, widely regarded as some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii!! Keep your eyes open for spinner dolphins known to use this famous bay as their resting grounds. This Bay is home to the historical Captain Cook Monument and known for its vibrant coral reefs and abundant sea life with 100's of species of tropical fish.
Included in your experience are snorkel gear, swimming noodles, assorted dry snacks and chilled bottled water. To fully enjoy your adventure, bring a towel, reef safe sunblock, dry clothes, and a camera. You must know how to swim to participate..
Location may change due to weather and sea conditions.

Block”, it is a Hawaii State Law.

PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE TIME
DIRECTIONS: We are located at **Honokohau Marina** at **74-425 Kealakehe Parkway, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740**. The Marina is 5 miles south of Kona airport and 3 or 4 miles north of Kailua-Kona.
-At the traffic light intersection, take Kealakehe Parkway from the highway (Hwy 19) towards the ocean.
-Rest assured you’ll see the sailboat masts from the highway and there’s a sign for Honokohau Marina.
-Make your first right hand turn, then turn left into the 1st parking lot. You will see the Bite Me Sportfishing Charter store. This is where you will check in.
You should bring: Swimsuit, Towel, and of course, don't forget your Camera! If you have your own snorkel gear you are welcome to use that, otherwise we do provide snorkel gear.
We do provide light snacks and drinks.

**PLEASE NOTE**
We do REQUIRE a MINIMUM number of passengers booked for a trip to confirm. If we do not reach this minimum required amount, you will be contacted with options. Those options may be to rebook for a different day. If you are unable to do that, we will cancel and fully refund your booking.
If you have booked through a third party, you may be required to reach out to that third party with your cancellation email as proof of cancellation for a refund.

Bite Me Sportfishing is the largest fishing fleet, not just on the Big Island, but in all of Hawaii. Though this booking is set for the Ocean Encounters 1, we do reserve the right to move you to another comparable boat should it become necessary for any reason.
