Where to Meet: Main Location: Google search: Kona Pier. We meet behind the Kona Boyz shack on the beach behind the King Kamehameha Hotel. Text if you have any questions.
Where to Park: Kuakini Free Public Parking Lot is located at 75-5668 Kuakini Hwy between Palani and Henry. Walk through the mall right to the pier. Please allow plenty of time to park and walk. We meet On Time! Find your Coach early. We provide gear.
What to Bring: Wear what makes you comfortable. Bring what you want.
KIDS: Bring a parent or guardian to stay on location during lessons.
What not to Bring: The location is a public beach. Do not bring valuables. We do NOT have lockers or safe bins. We are not responsible for your things. No Toys / No floaties. Coach will introduce swim tools as needed. No phones on deck. No paperwork on deck. No business on the beach. If you tell us something, TEXT or it will be forgotten.
Private Location Swim Lessons: Please confirm all scheduling dates and times with the office. Make sure we have the Private Location address, directions, gate codes, and any parking instructions. Google maps isn't always accurate on Big Island. Please make sure we know how to find you. Inquire in the office for extended Lifeguarding hours.
Snorkel Lesson: Snorkel lessons are designed to help you get ready for your manta ray tour and beyond. We have all the gear you need. Please contact the office to secure your appointment time if you have not done so already.
Salty Yoga: We can’t wait to get your Yoga Salty. You’ll be in the water for 90 minutes. We keep our heads dry for the first half hour before we take about a half hour group swim for all levels with lifeguards and water safety support. Then we return to the shallows to continue seated water assisted hatha yoga. It’s lovely. We have gear or bring the gear you want. Bring your inner child. Space is limited. Classes are available April -November 2026.
Salty Yoga Retreat: If you are joining us for a Salty Yoga Retreat February 17th-21st, make sure your deposit is saving your room before January 1st.
Kids Swim Lessons: Please have the participating parent read these details. We have fun, but prepare your child for a learning experience. We do hard things. Learning how to swim is an important life-saving skill and it’s required. Encourage bravery and independence. Be early for transition time but keep them dry until it’s their turn.

Cancellation Policy
Business Policies:
Registration is required for every swimmer. You sign waivers for all minors on your account acknowledging the risk of swimming in the ocean for your entire family.
Cancel Policy: Cancel for any reason at least 24 hours before your scheduled time for full rebooking credit. The Ocean is flexible. We stay flexible. Good communication please.
No-Shows: No-Shows will be charged at full booking credit. If Coach waited for you on the beach, we will pay our Coach. Please cancel in advance so we can make good with your valuable resources and our Salty time.
Refund Policy: All purchases are final. No refunds. No exchanges. No transfers. All swim lessons expire one year from the purchase date.
Tipping: You are welcome and encouraged to tip your coach privately, but please call or text the office for all reorders and scheduling.
No Phones / No Business on Deck: Coach cannot accept paperwork, payments, or scheduling changes at the time of service. Please text the office. For all things business.
About Your Coach: Salty and her team of lifeguards will be contacting you soon in a group chat so that we can take good care of you. Please let us know if you need anything to make the most of your Salty Experience.
Additional Notes: Show Up Coaching: Always assume swims lessons are on unless notified directly by us. Also if you cancel, please do so directly with us including your coach.
Force Cancels: Paddling events, Ironman, cruise ships, jellies, weather, etc. If we cancel for any reason, we will credit the lesson.
