Guided group snorkeling tours at La Jolla Cove with sea lions & seals, schools of colorful fish & the huge sea caves! All snorkeling tours depart from the beach (not a boat) in the La Jolla protected marine sanctuary and explore the ocean along the stunning sea cliffs.

**Parking:** can take an additional 30 minutes in the mornings & an additional 60 minutes in the afternoons. **Please arrive early.**

Required
- **Good Swimming Skills:** floats & life jackets are not allowed at La Jolla Cove.
- **Weight:** 90 lbs & up.
- **Ages:** 12 & up (with parent).
**Children:** Ages 12 to 17 may participate only if their parent is also snorkeling.
**Wetsuits:** Wearing a wetsuit is required. (available 90 lbs to 295 lbs)
**Physical Fitness:** Tours are physically demanding. For safety, these tours are not for individuals who are pregnant, in poor health, or compromised physical condition.

Cancellation Policy
- **100% refund** with cancellation **8 days or more** before scheduled event.
- **100% refund** with operator cancellation due to weather, safety or other unforeseen circumstances.
- **No refunds**, no cancellations, no rescheduling days, no time changes, no rain checks with **7 days or less** before the scheduled event.
- **No refunds** for “no-shows”, last minute cancellations or late parties.
**Late arrivals:** All tours leave on time. Late arrivals are not refunded, not rescheduled, not moved to a later tour time & not given a rain check even if traffic & parking are terrible. **Please arrive early.**

# Tour Duration
**1.5 hours** includes:

# Traffic and Parking (important)
Traffic will be heavy. Street parking near La Jolla Cove is free but very difficult to find.
* Morning tours: allow at least 20 extra minutes
* Afternoon tours: allow at least 30 extra minutes

Walk down Coast Boulevard toward La Jolla Cove. At La Jolla Cove Suites Hotel, 1155 Coast Blvd, cross the street toward the ocean and walk onto the grass.

Your guide will be set up with gear on the large grass area just south of the restroom and shower building.

# Suggested Items
* Swimsuit, worn under clothing
* Towel
* Sunscreen
* Waterproof camera with wrist strap or float
* Contact lenses if needed. Eyeglasses do not fit under masks.
* **Mask fit:** Facial hair can prevent a snorkeling mask from sealing properly and cause leaking. For the best seal, we recommend shaving before your tour.

Gratuity for your guide is appreciated, typically around 15%. Tips may be given in cash, Venmo, or added to a card after the tour.

Please arrive on time. Tours cannot be delayed. Guests more than 10 minutes late are considered no shows and are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Guides provide a safety briefing before entering the water. Ocean conditions are evaluated before each tour, and tours may be modified or canceled if conditions are deemed unsafe. Snorkeling equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.
