Dan is the senior guide at Fishing with Bernie, providing both boat trips in the Spring, summer, and fall as well as ice fishing trips as soon as we can walk on the water safely. Dan is a Colorado native with a passion for the outdoor lifestyle and fishing that is contagious, having fished all over the mountain west in pursuit of trophy lake trout as well as many other species. A day on the water with Dan will fly by, filled with plenty of laughs, lots of education, and hard work to meet our fishing goals for the day. Thanks for booking with me! My phone number is 303-956-3804. Please plan to meet at the Sunset Point boat ramp on Lake Granby by 5:45 a.m. I will be waiting at the gate in my blue Dodge truck towing a blue and black Crestliner boat. I have all the gear and bait necessary for our day on the water. Please come dressed for the expected weather. Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, food and drinks are all highly recommended to bring as well. You will need a Colorado fishing license for anyone 16 or older, these can be obtained online at www.cpwshop.com . Important Information
Dress in layers morning temperatures will be cool. Not uncommon to see 35-40 degree morning temperatures even in the summer. Sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended! Children 14 and younger will be required to wear a life jacket while in the boat.
