Embark on a thrilling self-guided adventure with White Water Adventurers' equipment rentals on the Lower Yough. From four- to six-person rafts to single or double inflatable kayaks, choose your vessel for a personalized experience. The package includes all necessary gear, and reservations are open year-round for trips spanning April to October.
Navigate the full 7.5-mile Lower Yough section at your own pace, with convenient launch times starting at 8:15 am and continuing every half hour until 2:45 pm. Whether you prefer a brisk 3.5-hour journey or a more leisurely downstream exploration, the low rental fee grants you up to 6 hours for your adventure. If your desired time slot is unavailable, simply call to arrange an alternate time.
Keep in mind that transportation back to Ohiopyle is not provided, so plan to return with your group and equipment to White Water Adventurers. Opt for two cars or consider renting a bike for the return trip. On the day of your excursion, register and purchase a launch ticket ($10/person) from Ohiopyle State Park. Note that shuttle service is unavailable on weekdays, with Bruner gate open from Monday to Friday.

Your **Lower Yough Raft Rental Excursion** with **White Water Adventurers** is just around the corner—and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you! To help you get ready for an epic day on the river, here’s a quick reminder of everything you need to know before you arrive.
# ✅ Waivers – Don’t Wait!
Before anything else—**make sure EVERYONE in your group submits their electronic waiver** ASAP.
- 📌 **No waiver = no rafting.**
- 🧒 Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign.
📧 You'll find links to the waivers in your confirmation email. Forward that email to everyone in your party so their waivers are properly linked to your reservation.
#📍 Where to Meet
Your trip meets at the **White Water Adventurers retail shop**:
🏠 **6 Negley St, Ohiopyle, PA 15470** (look for the bright red building!)
⏰ Please arrive **1 hour prior your scheduled meeting time** (listed in your confirmation email). Complete your shuttle to the end of the river. **This is your responsibility!** Having 2 cars is preferred.
We launch on time, and **guests arriving more than 30 minutes late may miss the trip with no refund.**
# 🎒 What to Bring + Wear
Be sure to bring:
- Any **medications** you’ll need on the river.
- **Eyeglass straps** if needed.
- A **towel and dry clothes** for after your trip.
- **Extra funds** (card or digital pay) for merch, or gear.
**Wear:**
- Quick-dry clothes like **shorts and a t-shirt** (no jeans or sweats).
- **Secure shoes only**—no flip-flops or Crocs.
- Wet suits available for rent, if needed.
🔒 Leave valuables in your car and give your **car keys** to the check-in attendant.
🌊 **Don’t bring anything on the river you don’t want getting soaked or lost.**
#🚨 Important Notes
- **Rafting is a team activity**—all guests are expected to paddle.
- Let us know in advance if anyone in your group has **physical limitations** or **language barriers** so we can help make the experience great for everyone.
🚫 **Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited.**
Guests found to be under the influence will not be allowed to raft and no refunds will be issued.

After check-in, you’ll:
1. Get your gear (life jackets + helmets)
2. Get pumped with a 15-minute safety briefing
3. Walk your equipment across the street to the launch site

Cancellation Policy
Please note that when you make a reservation, we forfeit the right to sell your spaces to others. We welcome the opportunity to have you as our guest.
You may receive a 90% refund if you cancel at least **15 days** prior to trip. Refunds do not include the convenience fee amount for online booking as this is remitted to a Third Party processor. Reservations made less than 15 days prior to trip date are nonrefundable, once payment is received. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies, late arrivals, or inclement weather.
