Booking Notes
Thank you for booking with Currie's Guiding! Here's everything you need for your half-day on Maligne Lake.
**📍 MEETING POINT**
Unless you have made arrangements to be picked up, your guide will meet you at the Maligne Lake public boat launch. Load this pin into Google Maps BEFORE leaving Jasper — there is no cell service on Maligne Lake Road:

⚠️ **Important:** As you drive up Maligne Lake Road, you will pass a restaurant and several buildings on your left — **DO NOT STOP HERE.** Continue driving approximately 750m (820 yrds) to the very end of the road. The public boat launch parking lot will be down the hill on your left. Your guide will be waiting at the dock.
**🚗 DRIVING TIME**
Allow approximately 1 hour from Jasper townsite. Leave 15 minutes early to account for wildlife on the road.
**🎫 FISHING LICENCE**
If you added a Parks Canada fishing licence at booking, your guide will have it ready at the dock. If not, purchase one at the Astoria Hotel (404 Connaught Drive, Jasper) before driving to the lake.
**👕 WHAT TO WEAR**
Dress in layers — Maligne Lake is several degrees colder than Jasper townsite. Foul weather gear is provided. Closed-toe shoes recommended.
**🎣 GEAR**
All rods, reels, flies, and tackle are provided. Just bring yourself.
**💧 FOOD & WATER**
Water is provided. Bring snacks — lunch is not included on half-day trips.

Cancellations made 5 or more days before your trip receive a full refund. Cancellations within 5 days of the trip are non-refundable. If we cancel due to weather or unsafe conditions, you always receive a full refund or we rebook you at no additional charge.
