Crystal River is considered the manatee capitol of the world, and we are fortunate enough to be in one of the only places where you can have the unique experience of swimming with these gentle giants in their own natural habitat! This three hour trip includes masks, snorkels, wetsuits, transportation to and from marina, professional in-water guide and photographer. Also includes bottled water and hot beverages. Each winter between 700 and 1000 manatees migrate here seeking out our three first magnitude spring systems, each with a constant temperature of 72° to 74° F (23° C). Even in the warm summer months, Crystal River has a local population of 70-100 manatees that remain here year round. Due to efforts by many local, state and federal entities, our manatee population is thriving. We feel that an in-water swim experience is an important part of this education and conservation effort. Our team of highly trained in-water guides ensure your experience with this cherished and threatened species is handled with the utmost care and respect by encouraging passive observation.
What to Bring
We offer three hour semi-private tours for up to six passengers on our luxury insulated and enclosed pontoon boat that will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the chilly winter months. Included in your tour is your wetsuit, mask and snorkel. Just bring a bathing suit, sunblock, change of clothing, towel and your inquisitive nature, and you are ready to go!
**Please Note: Children 7 and under must be under adult passenger supervision at all times. Children six (6) and under must wear a life vest at all times when the boat is in motion.**

Manatee tours include wetsuits, masks, snorkels, bottled water, coffee, hot chocolate and an in-water swimmer and photographer. **VIP tours have other inclusions, please see description for details.**
Photos and videos taken on semi-private manatee tours are available for purchase for an additional fee.
Please be aware that you are snorkeling with wild animals in their natural habitat. Although we strive to provide you with the best possible experience, we cannot guarantee water clarity, weather, the number of manatees seen during your tour or what behavior they will be exhibiting when you are viewing them.
Customers may bring any food and non-alcoholic beverages desired. We suggest bringing NON-AEROSOL sunscreen, sunglasses, towels and a change of clothing.
