Working around our pre-booked tours, our Captains have the flexibility to drop you off and allow you to explore Morris Island at your own pace, depending on the tides and wind conditions. Morris Island is a treasure trove for curious naturalists, history buffs, and fossil and shell collectors alike. You might even be lucky enough to stumble upon some shark’s teeth! If relaxation is more your cup of tea, bring along your beach chair, umbrella, and cooler and post up on the pristine white sand beach. With a plethora of activities and sights to take in, Morris Island is truly a remarkable destination worth visiting while in Charleston.

Please plan to arrive at our shop (83 Center St.) 10-15 minutes before your scheduled start time.

- Sunglasses/hat
- Sunscreen
- Clothes and shoes that can get wet!
- Jacket during the cooler months
Bring comfortable clothes for walking, if you're taking this trip in the Winter please be prepared for cold. Drinks and snacks/lunch recommended. A small bag or backpack for collecting shells and sharks teeth is recommended. We will drop you off on Morris Island and come back and get you 3 to 4 hours later. If you want a hire a guide to walk with you on Morris please email us after booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Weather Policy
Because boat charters difficult to rebook, we maintain a firm cancellation policy.
Cancellations
* Cancellations within 48 hours of your tour are non-refundable.
* We do offer Trip Protection, which allows cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours prior to departure in qualifying circumstances.
* No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. (We will hold the boat and try to accommodate as long as it doesn’t interfere with other tours.
Weather
Charleston’s coastal weather is highly localized and constantly changing.
* We do not cancel due to weather until approximately one hour before departure.
* Please do not rely on weather apps or extended forecasts. The Folly Bubble is a real thing. It can be raining downtown and Sunny on Folly.
* If conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain, you will be contacted directly to discuss options.
If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. If the tour runs as scheduled and you choose not to attend, standard cancellation policies apply.
