About
Open water is the first step in certified dive training. In this course you will learn basic diving skills, basic principles and techniques. Starting with E-Learning for dive academics, then 3 days of in house class room and in water skills. Once completing with the proficiency required for the dive skills and E-Learning, the student will be issued their Open Water Dive Certificate.

Please read carefully all of the following: STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE at least 20 MINS. PRIOR TO SCHEDULED CLASS START TIME WITH PAPERWORK/RELEASE FORMS already completed with doctors release if you answered yes to any medical questions otherwise you shall be considered late and we can not let you enter the class once it is already started. If you choose to wait to until arrival to fill out forms you must arrive 30 mins. prior please remember waiting to read or complete the medical forms may result in a reschedule fee if you must answer yes to any medical questions, you must have a doctors release to start class.
You will be emailed your student online/e-learning code with in 7 days of start of class, this must completed by 6 pm the evening prior to class start otherwise you will be subject to a rescheduling fee and will not be able to start class on your scheduled time. Non-completed e-learning students can not begin class. Please take your e-learning seriously this is when you learn your dive fundamentals. Your completed test will be printed by 6 pm the evening prior to class and presented to your dive instructor for every student that misses a question, your instructor must ask you to explain each incorrect answer given during the test during your first day of class., once you have completed your online training, please go back to the website and choose edit your information notice the photo upload button, please upload a photo. We are not permitted to issue you a dive certification until this process has been completed.
Remember that your online training is where you begin to learn your dive fundamentals please take this seriously it is important that you have a understanding of your dive fundamentals prior to your arrival your online training provides this for you.

Prepare to Dive the First Day.!
Gratuity is required for crew/staff members.
All Bookings for any and all training and tour types are non-refundable once booking is completed - will we issue a voucher for a return trip or training if the cancellation's are with in the boundaries of our policy; cancellations, edits must be completed 8 days prior to training and dive tour type.
If you cancel your class with in 7 days, do not show or late for class you will not be refunded however you will have up to one year to train, with the additional penalty of 145.00 per student. We enforce the policy since we keep our dive classes small we seldom have available seating once we are with in 7 days, if a student does not show or cancel with in 7 days it does not give us the opportunity to re sale your seats.
Students must be on time for class start, if for some reason you are not on time you will have to re schedule your class and pay a $145.00 penalty per student for the reschedule class date. We can not repeat missed information for late arrivals, information that every student is required to learn, missing part of a class would disqualify you from training for any day you are required to learn. Not completing your testing by 6 pm the evening prior to class shall also disqualify to begin class, yes question on your medical form will disqualify you to start class unless you provide us with a doctors release form.
All of our students will automatically be enrolled in our V.I.D. program which means great discounts, savings on dive gear and we will always offer our helping hand during any of your Scuba Adventures! (even if you are not going with us) we will always be here for you why because for SeaDaddys each student we train will always be a Very Important Diver! to us. (info will be provided during your training)

Follow link below to submit your dive release,medical information etc., If you answer "YES" to "ANY" questions on your medical release form you must provide SeaDaddys a doctors release that states it is safe for you dive with your current medical related issues including prescriptions and regular use of over the counter meds you may be taking. If you do not supply SeaDaddys with the doctors release you can not start the class (please see the penalty above).

Cancellation Policy
You may change cancel or edit your reservation up to 8 days prior without a penalty however once we are within 7 days of class start date you will receive a 125.00 penalty per student to change,edit or cancel your class start date this would also include a no show and late arrival.
Penalty Per Student examples;
Late arrivals can not start class same day.
Non completion of E Learning by 6 pm Friday evening prior to class start you can not start class as scheduled.
Doctor excuse not provided for the "yes" questions answered on medical release forms.
Return for additional training $ 189.00 per day of additional training.
Important Information
We have a long standing stanitizing regimen on all gear even prior to covid however with covid awarness on the rise we have intensified our efforts. We now also santitize just before we hand the set of regs (mouth piece) to you so that you are more comfortable with our process.
