Itinerary
- Check In & Safety talk: Arrive to Villa Marina, Fajardo Puerto Rico.
- Cruise Along the East Coast of Puerto Rico. From this point we will have a different perspective of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Lighthouse and Las Croabas.
- Destination:
- **Palomino Island:** Approximate navigation time 15 minutes. Guided Snorkeling Stop approximate 1.5 hours. Here, we dive into the sea and turn on our lights to observe marine life for about an hour and a half. Once we have finished the snorkeling part, we invite you to warm up with the delicious snacks that we have prepared, while you observe the star constellations and listen to the sounds of the sea.

- The following guests cannot participate: state of pregnancy, guests with recent surgeries, guests with neck, back, arm or leg problems, guests who have epilepsy, heart conditions and/or dizziness.
- **Please note: this experience is sailed in a 27-foot boat in open water. On occasion we can expect choppy and or bumpy ride.**
- Depending on the maritime conditions of the day and the experience of our guests, the captain can adjust the itinerary and places on the islands to visit.

## 📍 Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive at **Renaissance Villa Marina in Fajardo 5–10 minutes before your scheduled departure**.
At the marina entrance, tell security you are visiting **Manta**.
Please have your **booking confirmation and a valid photo ID** available.
**Please arrive on time.** Equipment preparation and a safety briefing are required before entering the water. Late arrival may reduce your experience time or result in a missed departure, and the scheduled return time cannot be extended.

## 🔦 About Your Night Snorkel
This is a **guided night snorkeling experience using underwater lights**.
It is **not a bioluminescent bay tour**, and bioluminescence is not part of the experience.
Your underwater light allows you to discover the marine environment from a completely different perspective after dark. Marine life sightings, water clarity, and underwater visibility vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
Exact snorkeling locations are selected by the captain and guide based on **weather, sea conditions, visibility, current, and safety**. Palomino may be visited when conditions safely allow, but specific locations cannot be guaranteed.
## 🤿 Comfort & Safety
Previous night snorkeling experience is not required, but participants should be comfortable entering the water after dark and able to follow guide and safety instructions.
Flotation equipment is provided. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, please notify your guide.
Snorkeling is optional. Guests who choose not to enter the water may remain aboard subject to crew instructions and safety conditions.
Please notify us before departure of any **medical condition, injury, medication, mobility concern, or other circumstance that could affect safe participation**.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian.
The captain and snorkeling guide have final authority regarding navigation, snorkeling locations, guest participation, and all safety-related decisions.
## 🍹 Bringing Alcohol?
Guests may bring alcoholic beverages in **cans or plastic containers only**. Glass is not permitted onboard.
Please drink responsibly. Guests who appear impaired may be restricted from snorkeling or participating in water activities.

The captain may modify the route, snorkeling location, timing, or activities when necessary for safety.
If Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines conditions are unsafe to operate, we will contact you with the options available under our weather policy.
**Please do not assume your experience is canceled based on a weather forecast unless you hear directly from us.**

Cancellation Policy
**Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled departure for a full refund.**
Cancellations made **within 48 hours of departure**, as well as **late arrivals and no-shows**, are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule must be made at least **48 hours in advance** and are subject to availability and any applicable change fees.
Night snorkeling is weather- and sea-condition dependent. If **Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe to operate**, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our weather policy.
Changes to the **route, snorkeling location, timing, underwater visibility, or marine-life activity** due to weather, sea conditions, current, visibility, or safety are not considered operator cancellations and do not qualify for a refund.
**This is not a bioluminescent bay tour. Marine-life sightings and bioluminescence are not guaranteed and are not grounds for a refund.**
Please do not assume your experience is canceled based on rain, clouds, wind, or a weather forecast unless Pirate Snorkeling Shack contacts you directly.
Important Information
For your safety, all guests must follow the instructions of the captain and snorkeling guide throughout the experience.
Night snorkeling involves boat movement, wet surfaces, swimming in low-light conditions, limited visibility, and exposure to the marine environment. Guests should be comfortable in the water and able to follow snorkeling and safety instructions.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with recent surgery, serious back or neck conditions, epilepsy, severe dizziness, significant mobility limitations, or medical conditions that may be aggravated by boat movement or nighttime snorkeling.
Please notify us in advance of any medical condition, injury, mobility concern, medication, allergy, or other circumstance that could affect safe participation.
Personal flotation devices, snorkeling equipment, underwater lights, first-aid supplies, and required marine safety equipment are provided. The captain or guide may require the use of a flotation device or restrict a guest from entering or remaining in the water whenever necessary for safety.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian.
Alcohol consumption must remain responsible. Guests who appear impaired or whose behavior creates a safety concern may be restricted from snorkeling or other water activities.
Weather, sea conditions, visibility, snorkeling locations, and activities may change at any time. The captain and guide have final authority regarding navigation, snorkeling participation, and all safety-related decisions.
Marine-life sightings, water clarity, visibility, and specific underwater conditions cannot be guaranteed.
