Nite Snorkeling and Boat Experience

Let us accompany you on an exciting night snorkeling experience where we dive into the sea, turn on the light to observe different fish, mollusks , corals and crustaceans, which no longer hide, living in the shadow of the night. Come on, venture into this new adventure, where the darkness of the night bathes us in the natural light of marine life.

Itinerary
- Check In & Safety talk: Arrive to Villa Marina, Fajardo Puerto Rico.
- Cruise Along the East Coast of Puerto Rico. From this point we will have a different perspective of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Lighthouse and Las Croabas.
- Destination:
- **Palomino Island:** Approximate navigation time 15 minutes. Guided Snorkeling Stop approximate 1.5 hours. Here, we dive into the sea and turn on our lights to observe marine life for about an hour and a half. Once we have finished the snorkeling part, we invite you to warm up with the delicious snacks that we have prepared, while you observe the star constellations and listen to the sounds of the sea.
- Return to the marina.

- For Intermediate Snorkelers
- The following guests cannot participate: state of pregnancy, guests with recent surgeries, guests with neck, back, arm or leg problems, guests who have epilepsy, heart conditions and/or dizziness.
- **Please note: this experience is sailed in a 27-foot boat in open water. On occasion we can expect choppy and or bumpy ride.**
- Depending on the maritime conditions of the day and the experience of our guests, the captain can adjust the itinerary and places on the islands to visit.

* During check-in, you will fill out the Leasing Contract and General Waiver if not completed beforehand, and receive a safety briefing.
* The experience starts at **7:00 pm**.
* Late arrivals will result in a shortened experience time as the return time remains fixed at 9:30 pm. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals.

## Itinerary
### Before Arrival
* You will receive an email with the Leasing Contract and General Waiver. Ensure all participants (adults and minors) complete these forms before the trip.
* A valid ID (same as used for the waiver) is required at check-in.
* Call us at **787-556-0104** the day before for the latest water condition updates.
* Note: Transportation and parking are not included.
### On the Day
* **6:30 pm:** Check-in at Villa Marina, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Inform the security guard you are with the *Manta* boat (ID number 7239).
* **7:00 pm:** Safety briefing and departure. Cruise along the East Coast of Puerto Rico with views of Las Cabezas de San Juan Lighthouse and Las Croabas.
* **Palomino Island:** About 15 minutes navigation. Guided snorkeling for approx. 1.5 hours with underwater lights to observe marine life.
* Post-snorkeling, enjoy snacks while stargazing and listening to the sea.
* Return to the marina by 9:30 pm.

Pirate Snorkeling is dedicated to preserving the underwater beauty and marine life of the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve. We ask guests to avoid touching coral, fish, turtles, or any marine animals, and never feed fish human food. Please use reef-safe sunscreen and reusable containers, and take your trash with you.
**Did you know?** Coral reefs here are affected by SCTLD (Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease). We work with local authorities to help treat and prevent the disease, and ask for your cooperation to keep the reefs healthy.

**Cancellation Policy**
* Cancellations must be made **by phone** at least **48 hours before** your scheduled activity to receive a **full refund**. Call us at **787-556-0104**.
* Cancellations made **less than 48 hours** before your activity will be charged the **full amount**. No refunds will be given.Reservations made within 48 hours of the activity, as well as no-shows, are considered final and are non-refundable.
* To change your reservation, please call us **48 hours in advance**. Rescheduling fees apply: \$15 per person for guided tours or \$10 per rental item, subject to availability. We reserve the right to accept or deny changes.
* Please arrive **on time**. Late arrivals or no-shows will be charged in full, and no refunds will be provided. This applies to all guests, including cruise passengers.
* Weather cancellations are at our discretion. If we cancel due to weather, you may reschedule, choose a different tour, or receive a full refund. Please do not cancel yourself based on weather concerns — if the tour runs and you do not attend, you will be charged in full.
