We recommend that you look at our FAQ page.

What to bring:
a. Any medication which could be required
b. Trainers which can get wet. These need to have a good treaded sole and be securely fitted (wet suit boots with smooth soles are not appropriate, neither are flip flops or crocs)
c. Swimwear and a towel
d. A Go-Pro/ or equivalent. These can only be worn on a chest harness, we will not be able to mount anything on the helmets (Please bring your own chest harness if you're wanting to wear your Go-Pro)
e. The ability to swim
f. A basic level of fitness and a spirit of adventure

Requirements and additional information:
• We raft on natural rivers - every trip can be different. We are reliant on water levels. In periods of prolonged dry weather, then sometimes a trip can be gentler. If we have a prolonged wet spell, the rapids can be bigger. We continue to raft in most weather conditions, whether there’s rain, sun or snow. Rapids increase and decrease in size depending on river level. Typically the rapids on this rafting adventure are much smaller in the summer months. We raft in low and high water. We will update you the day before your trip if there is any change to the location. Please make sure that we have all ways to contact you in the event of river changes the day before your trip.

• Each participant must be able to swim
• Wetsuit, Buoyancy Aid and Safety Helmet will be provided
• Closed shoes must be worn and are not provided. Please wear trainers which can get wet. These need to have a good treaded sole and be securely fitted (wet suit boots with smooth soles are not appropriate, neither are flip flops or crocs)
• Shared Rafts - Groups are divided up onto rafts on the day, and this is decided by the raft guide in accordance with water conditions. Whilst we try not to separate families, there are times when it is required. A child would not travel without an adult from their booking. Rafts will travel in a convoy and there is plenty of fun and interaction between rafts.
• Private Rafts - Those on a Private Raft will not be separated.

The exact starting point of the tour will be confirmed by email and / or telephone prior to the tour departure.

Booking Notes

Thank you for booking our North White Water Rafting Adventure!

The White Water Rafting lasts for approximately 4/5 hours, with around 2/3 hours on the river (times can vary with water levels/ head winds) please be mindful this trip doesn't have changing facilities, it's very rural!

## Requirements and additional information:
We will be in touch the day before to confirm your final location and to provide you with a contact number for the day. In the meantime, here’s an overview and some details to help you to plan your trip:

Rafts travel in convoy with a fully qualified raft guide, to give instructions, and to keep everyone safe.

Groups are sometimes divided across rafts on the day, and this is decided by the raft guide, in accordance with water conditions. We will always try to keep families together. There is lots of fun and interaction between the rafts! Those who book on a Private Raft would not share a raft or be split up.

We provide a free shuttle/ minibus to get to or return from the river

The timing is not an exact science, and adventurers have been known to get carried away having fun! We do not recommend booking gourmet dinners after your White Water Rafting Adventure, as any delays would impact your booking. We recommend a self-catering meal, or enjoying the local cuisine from the nearby pubs. We also don’t recommend booking a strenuous activity straight after the White Water Rafting, unless you are confident of your group’s capabilities.
