#*Quick Tips:*
- Wear shoes that protect your feet from rocks! Sneakers, water shoes, sandals that strap to your feet and cover your toes.
- Wear clothing that dries rapidly (avoid cotton). This includes board shorts, Nike, UnderArmor, synthetic fabrics.
- Remember sunscreen and sunglasses!
- If you are doing a trip in the Spring or Fall, bring layers so you can dress for the weather if necessary. We rent wetsuits and paddle jackets for trips in cooler weather (especially March-April and October trips).
Cancellation Policy
First we recommend the cancellation insurance.
We deal with each situation on a case by case basis.
If you are unable to make the scheduled trip date rain checks are the normal agenda.
- 30 days' notice = 50% refund for rafting trips; $25+ per reservation for accommodations (see lodging details).
- 3-29 days' notice: no refunds, trips may be rescheduled for guest convenience.
- Less than 72 hour's notice and/or No Shows: no refunds, no credit toward rescheduling.
- No refunds at any time on prepaid gift certificates, trip vouchers, or special offers/sale prices.
Guests are **NOT** permitted to raft under the undue influence of any substance, prescription or recreational, or if they are deemed to be mentally, emotionally, or behaviorally unprepared or combative. Such situations will be subject to either the Rescheduling or Cancellation terms at the discretion of West Virginia Adventures.
