**IMPORTANT NOTICE**
Hawaii has joined other states in the country and now requires a license for recreational ocean fishing. The license is easy to get at the Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Aquatic Resources [website](https://fishing.hawaii.gov) The cost is $20 for a 1 day license, $40 for a 7 day license, and $70 for an annual license. Nonresident youth under 15 and all active-duty military personal and their families do not need a license. We are suggesting you go online to their website and create an account. Then day before your charter go back in a get your license.
If you decide to purchase your license in advance before your charter and we cancel due to weather the fee is nonrefundable per the DLNR. They will not give you a refund.
