**What to Know:** The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: 1) Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of SCUBA diving. 2) Five Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills. 3) Four Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore! Our dive center offers two different options for getting certified. The first option is the PADI E-Learning online program, approximately 2-3 days of water work The second option for getting certified is to have in-person lectures with your instructor over the course of 3-4 days with the usage of a hard-copy manual.
**What to Bring:** You will need a diver’s logbook to begin. Be sure to wear your bathing suit and bring your own towel, dry clothes and a reusable water bottle.
