We’re thrilled you chose Rincon Diving & Snorkeling for your upcoming **PADI Open Water Diver course**. This is the beginning of an exciting new skill, and we can’t wait to guide you through your training in the beautiful waters of Rincón, Puerto Rico. 🐠✨

## ✅ Before You Arrive
**PADI eLearning:** Your PADI eLearning is the first step in your certification journey. Please start as soon as possible — it typically takes **5–10 hours** to complete and must be finished **before your class begins**.

Certain medical conditions may affect participation, so please review the form carefully.
**Guests under 18:** A parent or guardian must also sign on their behalf.
## 📚 How the Course Works
There are **three phases** to your certification:
- **Knowledge development** — PADI eLearning
- **Confined water dives**
- **Open water dives**
You’ll begin by completing your PADI eLearning online. Then you’ll move into confined water training, where you’ll learn foundational scuba skills such as setting up gear, clearing your mask, buoyancy control, and entering and exiting the water safely.
Once you and your instructor are confident with those skills, you’ll continue into open water dives in the ocean, where you’ll put everything into practice while exploring the reefs of Rincón. 🌊🐢

We are located at **Road 115, Km 12.0, Rincón**. Please do not rely only on street addresses, as they may take you to the wrong side of the island.
**Check-in time:** Please arrive at the time listed on your reservation and allow extra time for traffic. If you need help, call us at **787-506-3483** — we’re happy to help.
**Running late?** Please let us know as soon as possible.

## ✅ Good to Know
**Minimum age:** 10 years old.
If you are not wearing a wetsuit, we recommend a t-shirt or rashguard for comfort, sun protection, and to help prevent abrasion from the equipment.
As part of your training, you’ll learn that you must allow at least **18 hours before flying after diving**. ✈️
It is important to arrive well hydrated, so please **drink plenty of water before your course**.
Our warm waters are the perfect place to build confidence and practice new skills. During your training, you may have the chance to see coral reefs, tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, octopuses, and more. 🐙🐠🐢
## 🚫 Weather & Cancellations
We get it — plans can change. Here’s our cancellation breakdown:
- To receive a full refund, please provide at least **24 hours’ notice** if you need to cancel your tour.
- Cancellations made within **24 hours** of the scheduled tour are not eligible for a refund.
- If you do not show up and do not contact us, a refund cannot be issued. Our team will attempt to reach you at the time of the tour if you’re a no-show.
All cancellations must be made by calling the dive center directly at **787-506-3483**. Cancellations made via email or voicemail may not be honored.
Why a cancellation fee? Our guides reserve this time for you. We appreciate your understanding! 🙏
**Weather-related cancellations:** Safety first! We reserve the right to cancel or reroute activities up until the last minute due to weather, safety, or other uncontrollable circumstances. In this case, we will try to reschedule, agree on another more accessible destination, or provide a full refund if necessary.

# ARRIVAL POLICY:
Check-in is the time stated on your reservation on the day of the Tour at Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, Rd 115, Km 12.0, Rincon Puerto Rico.
Anticipate slower traffic and longer driving times. If you need directions, please call us and let us know where you are coming from and we are happy to help you, Please let us know as soon as possible if you are delayed in anyway.
After Check-in, equipment fitting and briefing, participants will carpool or caravan to the entry. Depending on the size of your group, the guide may or may not be able to accommodate transportation from Dive Center to entry. All activities start and end on the beach--NO BOAT IS REQUIRED for a great experience.
# CANCELLATION POLICY:
Because our groups are always small to exclusive, it is important to let us know of any changes in your reservation.
**Why do we have this policy?**
This policy reimburses Guides/Instructors for blocking off their schedule for you. When you book, they do not accept other work during that time. If we had no cancellation fee, they would lose the income during that period.
All cancellations should be done **48 hours prior** to the day of Tour to be exempted from the cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost.
There are no penalties or fees for canceling your Tour outside of the 48 hour window.
**CANCELLATION FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKING**: Bookings made less than 24 hours of the tour date are considered FINAL and will incur cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost.
All **NO-SHOWS** will be charged the full tour price for the group.
Cancellations made after 5:00 p.m the day prior to the tour will be be considered a NO-Show and incur the full tour price. This includes "reduction in group size" cancellations.
Cancellations need to be made directly by calling the dive center at 787-506-3483 .
Cancellations made via email or by voicemail may not be honored.

# GUARANTEE POLICY:
All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by credit card or advance payment. All major cards are accepted.
