Chartering a private boat for your Great Barrier Reef experience is an investment in a trip of a lifetime. Want to be more adventurous or take a mixed groups of divers and snorkelers. Our vessels are equipped for many varied activities. Please drop us a line with what you have in mind and we can tailor a trip of a lifetime! We already visit more exclusive and private areas than any operator from Port Douglas, but how nice to enjoy this just with your partner, friends, family.
Being a small local, privately owned Australian family company that employs its own staff, we don’t just know the reef intimately but we also know our own boats intimately. We offer a genuine outer reef experience guided in-water by marine experts.
Our private charters are run with our own crew and skippers who work on our boat full time. We offer a totally unique Port Douglas charter boat service, providing the ultimate private Great Barrier Reef experience.

#Important Information
**What To Bring:** A water bottle (this can be refilled on board, our boat has free filtered water) A towel, sunglasses, hat, swimmers and a change of clothes can also be handy.
**Sunscreen:** Sunscreen is found to be damaging the reef. Coral are very sensitive to chemical additives found in conventional sunscreen, which is why we recommend you to cover yourself with clothes. However, Reef and skin friendly sunscreen with no harmful additives is [available at our shop](https://www.oceansports.com.au/swimming/) or at our store or onboard our boat.
**Seasickness:** If you are not sure, prevention is better than cure. We recommend TRAVACALM (Pink & white box), a non-drowsy medication available at most chemists in Australia. **Medical Info:** Please note age, fitness levels, heart disease and some medical conditions can increase the risks of injury when snorkelling.
Cancellation Policy
**Travel Insurance:** We always recommend 'Travel Insurance' this is the only way to cover any sort of sudden unexpected event.
**Daily tours:** We have a strict but fair cancellation policy. We are a very small company with limited availability making things very difficult if not impossible to change or cancel bookings even for medical or sickness circumstances. Private charter cancellations within 5 days of charter date occur a 100% charge with no refund or credit.
