We’re excited to have you join us for Paddle & Praise — a morning of faith, community, worship, and time on the water!
ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled Paddle & Praise time.
This gives you time to park, check in, complete any outstanding waivers, and get settled before we begin.
If you reserved rental equipment, please check in with the AZ Paddle Junkie team when you arrive.
WHAT TO BRING
Plenty of water
Sunscreen
Sunglasses and/or a hat
Shoes or sandals that can get wet
Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather
A towel or change of clothes for afterward, if desired
Your own kayak or paddleboard if you are bringing one
BRING YOUR OWN OR RENT FROM US
You are welcome to bring your own kayak or paddleboard to Paddle & Praise.
Don't have equipment? No problem! Kayaks and paddleboards are available to rent from AZ Paddle Junkie.
You do not have to rent equipment to attend Paddle & Praise.
THE GATHERING IS FREE
Paddle & Praise is about bringing people together through faith, worship, community, and the outdoors.
There is no charge to attend the Paddle & Praise gathering. Equipment rentals are completely optional.
You're welcome to come for the gathering even if you don't plan to paddle.
IF YOU'RE PADDLING
We launch directly from the shoreline, so you will be walking into the water with your kayak or paddleboard.
Your feet and footwear will get wet. Please wear shoes or sandals that are secure and that you are comfortable getting wet.
Life jackets are required while paddling. If you're renting equipment from us, a life jacket and paddle will be provided.
WEATHER
Paddle & Praise is an outdoor event and is subject to weather and water conditions. Arizona weather can change quickly.
If weather requires us to make changes to the event, we will communicate updates using the contact information associated with your reservation.

Whether this is your first time at Paddle & Praise or you've joined us before, we're glad you're coming.

Important Information
"To Cancel your rental or tour you must call within 24 hours of your booking time. Requests to Cancel inside of the 24 hour window will be a 50% refund. To receive a full refund customer must cancel prior to 24 hours of the booking time.
WEATHER / RAIN CHECK POLICY
Note : June 15th through September 30th is Monsoon season and weather cancellations are more likely in this time frame.
The safety of our guests is our top priority. Tours and rentals may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, including lightning, severe thunderstorms, high winds, or other conditions deemed unsafe by AZ Paddle Junkie.
If AZ Paddle Junkie cancels an activity due to unsafe weather, guests will receive a rain check or may reschedule to another available date at no additional charge. Rain checks are valid for 12 months from the original reservation date.
Weather decisions are based on actual conditions at Lake Pleasant and are made at the sole discretion of AZ Paddle Junkie.
Light rain, cloudy conditions, or forecasted weather alone do not automatically result in cancellation.
Guests who choose not to participate while tours and rentals are operating will be subject to the standard cancellation policy."
