Our Paddle Board Lessons are taught on the beaches and waters off of Kalama Park in Kihei, Maui. This is a great place to learn to paddleboard, due to the calm water and slow break of the waves with an average year-round water temp of 78° — It’s just awesome…Lots of Hawaiian green sea turtles to hang out with.

SUP lessons are 1.5 hours in length and include everything you need for the water.

*All Equipment Included.
*Our professional instructors are CPR & First Aid certified.
*Classes are scheduled at 8 am & again at 10:00 am, (The best time to surf in Hawaii is early morning before the tradewinds come in!).
*No lessons on Sundays or public Holidays.
*You DO need to reserve your spot in advance.
*Private and semi-private lessons are available.

MINIMUM AGES: Minimum age for the Mixed-Adult Group Lesson is 12 years. Younger kids should do private or semi-private lessons. Families have a blast surfing together in our semi-private lessons!!

*We also have a professional photographer to capture the proof of your new surfing skills. Photo packages are sold separately.

We're also very Proud to be a partner with Make-A-Wish Hawaii, and we teach some great little kiddos the Joy of surfing!

Check in at our **Surf Club Maui van**
**15 minutes before your scheduled start time**
(The van is in the middle of the main parking lot, near the restrooms and playground)

### AGES & WEIGHT LIMITS
**Minimum Ages**
Group lessons: **11 years old**
Under 11: Semi-Private or Private required
Under 8: **Private lesson only**

**Weight Limits**
Equipment maximum: **230 lbs (104 kg)**
Please notify us if you exceed this limit
Overweight or special-needs surfers are recommended to book private lessons

Drinking water (stay well-hydrated before your lesson),

We work with an in-water photography company that may take photos of your experience.
