This course is perfect for beginner to intermediate mermaids. Students will learn correct buddy procedures, how to safely swim in a mermaid tail, and special techniques and knowledge, including use of mermaid equipment, swimming techniques, performance skills, and breathing techniques for diving.

Must be at least 10 years old
Must be able to swim 50m and float for 5 minutes

**If you answer YES to certain questions on the [MEDICAL FORM](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aImk7JGtOgrzGYA-Us8ZKRf2XZWJRL0s/view?usp=sharing) your doctor must, as a safety precaution, assess the condition as it relates to freediving and sign a medical form that confirms you’re fit to dive.** Please print out or email a copy to your doctor for a signature. **This must be completed BEFORE the start of the course!** So please give yourself plenty of time to review the document IN CASE YOU DO NEED MEDICAL CLEARANCE.
IF YOU NEED MEDICAL CLEARANCE AND YOU DO NOT RECIVE A DOCTORS APPROVAL YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONFINED WATER OR OPEN WATER PORTIONS OF THE COURSE. You will need to pay a $150 rescheduling fee and can reschedule during availability.

Cancellation Policy
Because Live Free Diving is committed to providing high-quality courses with small instructor-to-student ratios, we are unable to issue refunds for cancellations. **This course is non-refundable under any circumstances.** However, we can reschedule your course date with administration fees as follows:
- Reservations can be re-scheduled with no fee with at least 14 days’ notice prior to your scheduled class to allow us time to book other clients.
- Cancellations or re-scheduling reservations less than 14 days notice: will be charged a cancellation fee of $75
- Less than 7 days notice or no notice: will be charged the full price of the booked trip/course. No refunds will be given due to the potential loss of business/expenses incurred.
- At least a 50% deposit is required in order to secure your spot. Remaining balance is due by the start of the course. Your card will automatically be charged the remaining balance.
- Private session cancellations/rescheduling require at least 14 days’ notice. Rescheduling within 14 days is subject to a $150 rebooking fee due to potential business loss. The full balance is due 7 days prior to your scheduled course. Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 7 days before the course date will be charged the full course price.
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit (minus PADI eLearning fee) in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
- Trips are not cancelled due to rain
