Take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry on this relaxing boat cruise. This leisurly cruse will explore the picturesque May River and surrounding waterways in search of some this areas' most fascinating wildlife. There is something special to see at every turn. The tidal creeks offer great opportunities to see local and migratory dolphin populations. Distinctive behaviors of the local dolphin are so fascinating that researchers and scientists have sought out this locale for years. Herons, ibises, wood storks, bald eagles and ospreys dot the landscape. This tour is led by a USCG licensed Captain who, as and experienced Interpretive Naturalist, will be able to share with you an intrinsic knowledge of the habitat and the processes that take place within it.

##What to bring:
Wear clothing that would be comfortable for a walk on the beach that day. The boat ride will be cooler - think the current temperature outside with an air-conditioner blowing on you - so bring an extra outer-layer or shell. Sun protection is important, regardless of the weather or season. We strongly recommend a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. A bottle of water for each person is also recommended. During Spring and Fall mornings and evenings bug spray may be necessary.
