Please arrive at your scheduled time at the designated launch site. Time is built into the schedule for check-in, instruction, and restroom use, but only if you arrive on time or early.
Once you arrive, look for our white van with the Black Manta Kayak Club logo, where your guide will get you checked in and set up with gear.
**WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR EXCURSION:**
*--Water Bottle (Recommended)*
We encourage guests to bring their own water bottle to stay hydrated during the tour. We will also have extra bottled water available if needed.
*--Dry Bag or Waterproof Phone Case*
Kayaks include dry storage, but water can occasionally enter compartments, or in the unlikely event you have an "out of boat experience". Extra protection is recommended for phones and valuables.
*--Sun Protection*
Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and layered clothing are strongly recommended. As you’ll be on the water and in the sun for several hours.
*--Towels & snorkel gear:*
You will have the option to go swimming, so make sure you bring a towel to dry off incase you do. And if desired, bring some goggles or snorkel gear to get an up close experience of the small creature underwater.
*--Comfortable Clothing & Layers*
We recommend bringing layered clothing that can be taken on and off to manage sun exposure or if you become too cold or too hot. Its not always the case, but if you become bothered by our by our insect friends layered clothing can help with that as well.
*--Water Shoes or Sandals*
Shoes that can get wet are recommended for launching, landing, and short walks on the beach.
*--Cash for Gratuities (Optional)*
Tips are never required but always appreciated if you enjoyed your tour.

All guests are expected to respect Pensacola Beach as a protected natural area. Please help us preserve its beauty by leaving nothing behind and following guide instructions.
Cancellation Policy
Our company policy is 24hr cancellation notice for a full refund. The reason being we are a small company with limited spots, and it takes a lot of energy and time preparing to make your experience safe, informative and fun so we ask that you let us know ASAP if you anticipate any changes to your itinerary. 🌊 Important Tour Info – Pensacola Beach Kayak Adventure 🌊
Our tour launches from the calm bay side of Pensacola Beach—just a short distance from the Gulf. While the bay is usually gentle, some days can bring light swell or breezy conditions. If we anticipate higher winds or choppy water, we’ll send you a message beforehand to let you know and offer the option to continue or reschedule—your comfort matters to us!
Please note: Since we’ll be kayaking in open bay waters, you should plan to get a little wet—sometimes just a splash, sometimes a bit more. Dress accordingly and get ready for a fun adventure on the water!
Our ocean kayaks are designed for stability and smooth paddling—even with some waves. Safety is always our top priority, and if conditions ever become unsafe, we’ll cancel or reschedule the tour. But rest assured: a little wind or swell simply adds excitement, not danger!
