Prices vary based on date and day of the week. (i.e. Peak season (highest) rates apply from late June to early August, and weekdays cost less than weekends.)
Location
The Baxstar Pontoon is located in Detroit Lakes, MN. The pontoon only available on Detroit Lake for single day rentals. We do deliver to other lakes for any multi day rental.

About
Enjoy Detroit Lake in style on the Baxstar pontoon! You'll love our powerful 115 hp Yamaha engine and extras such as a 5" fish finder and electric anchor with remote. A Baxstar exclusive, we offer flexible check in times, allowing you to keep the pontoon as late as 9 pm. There is room for up to 12 people, so bring your friends and family!
Important Info
- All ages welcome. Driver must be at least 21 years of age. Feel free to bring with you any tubes, skis, wakeboards, corresponding tow ropes, and other water toys.
- Baxstar Fishing reserves the right to refuse service, without a refund, to anyone under the influence, or otherwise deemed incapable of operating the pontoon.
- Up to 2 dogs are allowed on the pontoon. Please note, your card on file will be charged for any damage caused by your pet(s).
- A $750 damage deposit is required for all rentals.
- The pontoon must be returned with a full tank of premium gas. You can fill it up at Long Bridge or J and K Marina on the lake. Otherwise, a fuel surcharge is added to your invoice after the rental. ***Fuel surcharge is $7/gallon*** until the tank is full. The tank holds 20 gallons.

##**Before Your Reservation:**
Please complete the digital waiver linked at the top of this email. The form must be complete by all adults that will step foot on the pontoon (even if they are not present at check).
##**Meeting and Drop off Location**
- **Our Pontoon Is No Longer Stored At Long Bridge Marina**.

##**Policies & Extras**
- Driver must be 21+
- You’re welcome to bring tubes, skis, boards, etc., but be sure to bring your own rope(s).
- **Damage deposit:** A $750 hold is put on your card, on file, and released no longer than 7 days after your trip if no damage. Baxstar reserves the right to charge your card on file for more than $750, if the repair costs more. **By booking this trip means you accept this damage deposit policy.**
- **Fuel options:** Fill the 20-gal tank yourself (91 octane) before you return the pontoon or we will refuel it for you at $8/gal, and add that fee, as a separate charge, after the pontoon is returned.
- **Animals:** Dogs are allowed, but please keep them off the seats. **Please note, your card on file will be charged for any damage caused by your dog(s).** Please contact us about animals, other than dogs.
- **LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:**
Please arrive on time. Customers arriving 30-60 minutes late will be assessed a $50 late arrival fee. If customers do not arrive within 60 minutes of the scheduled reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and no refund will be issued. Contact Baxstar as soon as possible if you know you are going to be late.

***Good news***
If you did not receive a full refund ***and*** we are able to **rebook your cancelled date with another customer**, we will refund the difference. We will contact you if this happens.

### Weather & Safety
We keep an eye on conditions. If there is extreme weather for the majority of your scheduled trip (more than 4 hours), we will work with you on one of the following:
- a **full refund** (if there is extreme weather for all 8 hours of your reservation)
- a **prorated refund** (based on how much time the pontoon was used before or after the bad weather)
- a **prorated credit** (up to the full amount of your rental) toward a rescheduled trip within 1 year of the original booking
Extreme weather means **heavy rain, hail, visible lightning, and/or sustained winds over 25 mph** — any of these are grounds for cancellation.
Sustained winds less than 25 mph, cold temperatures, and moderate rain without lightning are not grounds for cancellation. If you are sensitive to rain or wind and have some flexibility, we suggest adding **Trip Protection** to your reservation at checkout — you can also add it up to 30 days before your reservation.
**Baxstar Fishing** makes the final call on weather and trip safety, always with your experience and safety in mind.
