We appreciate you booking with Rogue Marine Rentals. We are excited to get you out on the water.
Please take a few minutes to review the following policies to help make your rental process smooth and easy.
Please arrive early for your rental. Guests will be fitted with life jackets, required documents will be reviewed, waivers will be completed and safety training must be completed before the rental begins. Arriving early helps ensure you get the maximum amount of time out on the water.
Full-day rentals run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Half-day rentals run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Multi-day rentals must be returned by 5:00 PM on the last day of the rental unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Please email or call us to confirm your rental time. We work hard to accommodate all of our guests and want to confirm when you would like to receive the rental unit.
If you have selected delivery, please ensure the delivery address is correct and that there is a suitable dock or safe location for delivery.
The following terms apply to your rental:
Proof of suitable watercraft operation certification is required for every driver. This may include a Pleasure Craft Operator Card, written proof of competency from your country or province of residence, or a Boating Safety Course Completion Card issued by a registered rental company that is valid only for the duration of your rental.
We do offer temporary boating licences that are valid for the length of your rental if you do not already have one.
Please note that each driver must also present a valid driver’s licence from their province or country. Failure to provide a valid driver’s licence at check-in may result in cancellation of the rental with no refund.
When your booking is confirmed, you will receive our Rental Agreement, Terms and Conditions, Waiver and Release of Liability and Acknowledgement of Risks document. This must be read carefully and signed before the rental begins.
The person organizing and paying for the rental must sign the waiver. All drivers must also sign the waiver before operating the watercraft. You may copy and share the waiver link with other guests in your group who will be driving.
Failure to complete the required waiver documents may result in loss of the rental.
Late pick up or late return may result in a fee of $100 per half hour. No-shows may be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Please read and understand our cancellation policy included in the booking process and posted on our website. There are no exceptions to this policy.
All rentals leave with a full tank of fuel. It is the renter’s responsibility to pay for the fuel used during the rental. Guests are welcome to refill the tank before returning the unit, or we can refill the unit at the local marine fuel rate when it is returned.
Rogue Marine Rentals provides life jackets in a variety of sizes, including adult and children’s sizes. Guests are welcome to bring their own properly fitting Transport Canada-approved life jackets if preferred, especially for infants or very small children to ensure the best fit.
All guests must wear a properly fitting life jacket when required and all children must have a properly fitting life jacket before going out on the water.
A pre-authorized damage deposit will be required at the time of rental. Sea-Doos and boats require a minimum $2,500 damage deposit. The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, missing equipment, late return fees, fuel charges, towing, recovery costs, cleaning fees, or other costs related to the rental.
Rogue Marine Rentals takes the safety of our guests and staff very seriously. We provide renters with dockside training, video training guides, a safety checklist and guidance for safe navigation of the waterways.
