One on one or one on two lessons are a great way to get the most out of your lesson and private lessons are available to everyone – absolute beginner, intermediate or the more experienced surfer. Every private lesson is tailored for you.
With the option to add as many surfers to your private lesson you can create a custom private lesson for your family or group
You’ll be amazed how quickly you progress.
We have private lessons available all throughout the year at times that are convenient for you. We are ready anytime to focus on your improvement and love of surfing.

Inclusions:
We will provide you with the following when you arrive for your lesson:

Location
We are based at Te Arai Beach & Forestry however we are a mobile surf school and also operate from Mangawhai Heads, Matakana and Orewa. We find Te Arai has the most consistent, fun surfing conditions over other locations. We meet directly at Te Arai Beach Reserve at your lesson time

**WHERE AND WHEN TO MEET**
Meet at **Te Arai Beach Reserve**

This is right at the end of Te Arai Point Road.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson start time.
Meet your coach at the exact start time of your lesson by our Aotearoa Surf van or trailer. Please do not arrive earlier to meet coaches.
We often run back to back lessons. Coaches may be finishing a session, setting up, or taking a short break. This helps us give you our full focus once your lesson begins.

• 10% OFF all surfboards, wetsuits, car soft racks, and accessories
Chat to your coach about next steps. This could be another lesson, a surf program, or a Surf and Stay option at our Eco Pods or Glamping. Your coach can also recommend the right board or wetsuit for you.
If you need anything before your lesson, get in touch. Otherwise, we will see you at the beach.

Cancellation Policy
Your activity will run rain or shine. We ensure everyone is satisfied with their experience. If your not fully satisfied we will give you your money back!
If we need to cancel our activity for any reason (which does not happen) we will rebook you free of charge or offer you a full refund.
You get a refund or no charge to change your booking date or time for the same booking service if you give Aotearoa Surf 5 days notice.
You must call to rebook prior to your lesson or program commencing. Rebooking a new date or time with less than 5 days notice is $25 / person. Cancelling your booking with less than 5 days notice warrants no refund.
