About
As you drift along, your guide will point out the landmarks—Mount Fellows, Sugarloaf, and Mount Healy rising majestically in the distance, while wildlife like harlequin duck and maybe even a moose quietly move along the riverbanks. The calm waters give you time to relax, soak in the sights, and listen to the peaceful sounds of the wilderness.
But the adventure doesn’t end there. Once you’ve taken in the scenic wonders, get ready for an adrenaline-pumping ride through the Canyon Wave section! The river picks up speed, and soon, you’ll be tackling a series of action-packed rapids like Razorback, New Wave, and Train-wreck. Feel the rush as you plow through the foaming waters, the spray catching the sunlight and the cold splash of the river hitting your face. Each rapid is a thrill in itself, with the current challenging your team to work together to navigate the twists and turns of the canyon.
Whether you’re paddling hard as a team or riding the waves as an Oar Boat Rider, this trip offers a perfect blend of peaceful wilderness and exhilarating whitewater action. It’s the ultimate way to experience Denali’s wild beauty and heart-pounding rapids, all in one epic day.
