For your convenience, we can also provide a skipper to take you to the best places in the safest way.
To rent our boats, the nominated skipper must be over 18 years old and have the relevant Navigation License.
The Authorized Navigation Area is only inside the Ria Formosa Lagoon and it’s not allowed to exit to the ocean.

Please note:
The person in charge of the crew must be of legal age, responsible for the boat and the people in it. ISea Charter reserves the right to deny the delivery of the boat if the responsible does not appear apt to assume its responsibilities. In this case, only the amount of the rental will be refunded. The person responsible for the crew shall take possession of the vessel after completion of the formalities (security, inventory), the collection of administrative documents and the necessary training and navigation instructions. The renter must comply with the current navigation regulations and the instructions he receives from ISea Charter and from the local maritime authorities.
Night navigation, towing, lending or boat hire are prohibited.
FUEL:
The vessels are delivered with the deposits full and must be returned under the same conditions. If the boat is not returned with the deposits full, a fee of € 250 will be charged for each deposit of fuel used.
If, due to tides, it is not possible to enter the dock at the end of the day to refuel the boats, ISea Charter will calculate the fuel consumed and this will be charged to the customer.

We recommend comfortable clothes, sports shoes and, for sunset tours, warmer clothes, although most of the nights are relatively warm. On the summer, bring your Bathing Suits, Beach Towels, Sunscreen and hats.

- Delivery/check in of rental boats takes place between 09:30 and 10:00. Deliveries requested after this time will be subject to the availability of our staff. Due to operational logistics, we kindly ask for your punctuality, as no time extensions will be granted for late deliveries.
1. The Client assumes:
He received the vessel in good condition and in good navigability: He will return the vessel at the agreed date and time; he is responsible for the payment of the rental in the terms and rates and general conditions of this contract; the weather conditions, damages or acts of third parties, do not imply any responsibility for the ISea Yachting.
2. The Authorized Navigation Area is only inside the Ria Formosa Lagoon and exit to the ocean is forbidden.
3. ISea Yachting, have the right to reduce the rental period and demand the return of the vessel, in case of breach of contract by the client.
4. The vessel may not be used in:
Transportation of goods in violation of maritime regulations, or any other illegal practices; transportation of passengers or goods in paid service; towing of other vessels; in sports competitions.
5. The Client expressly acknowledges his personal responsibility and will reimburse ISea Yachting for:
All expenses for the period of the rental; all fines and legal costs for any maritime infractions not imputable to ISea Yachting; All expenses of ISea Yachting, that are due, when of the claims by the client, and to this one imputable; All expenses of ISea Yachting regarding repairs and damages caused by misusage or accidents outside the agreed insurance conditions; All expenses of ISea Yachting regarding damages suffered by this as a consequence of delay in the delivery of the vessel by the customer
6. For the protection of the interests of ISea Yachting in case of accident the client must:
Take note of the names and addresses of the parties involved, as well as the witnesses; Do not admit guilt or responsibility; Do not abandon the vessel without having taken the necessary measures to protect it; Contact ISea Yachting, even in case of minor loss and to provide a detailed report of the accident; Warn the agents of maritime authority immediately if the culpability of the other party should be investigated, or if they have been injured
7. ISea Yachting, are exempt from any liability for goods left or stored on the vessels by customers, or companions, during the rental period, or after the return of the same.
8. Any changes to this agreement shall be deemed void unless otherwise provided in writing and agreed by the parties.
9. BOAT EQUIPMENT
The hirer shall immediately report any loss, theft or damage affecting the vessel or its equipment and shall be responsible for the corresponding replacement or repair costs.
During the rental period, the hirer shall also be responsible for the proper use and preservation of the vessel and all equipment on board and shall take all reasonable precautions necessary to prevent damage, taking into account the prevailing navigation and weather conditions.
Failure to take such precautions may be considered negligent use of the vessel and its equipment.
10. This contract is made in accordance with the law of the country where the vessel is registered.
11. The rental ends on the day and time stipulated between the parties. In order to extend the rental period, the Client must consult ISea Yachting before this possibility. In case there is a possibility of extension of the rental, the client must proceed immediately to the payment of the extension thereof. In case of non-compliance with the established time, the client will be charged a fee of € 50 for each hour of delay.
12. In case of loss of the documents or the key of the vessel the client will pay an indemnification of 500 €.
13. The contract is considered to have been violated in cases of: Dangerous vessel piloting and violation of maritime law; Piloting of the vessel under the influence of alcohol or narcotics; Pilotage of the vessel by persons not authorized by this contract; Use of the vessel with more persons on board than the allowance for that vessel
14. The rental boat is equipped with a GPS tracking device. By signing this agreement, the Renter acknowledges and consents to the use of GPS tracking by the Owner or their authorized representatives. This system may be used at any time during the rental period for safety, security, and operational purposes, including but not limited to locating the vessel in the event of emergency, unauthorized use, or late return.
15. The rental of the vessel is made with the delivery of a security deposit of 1.000 € (one thousand euros), before leaving the vessel. Any damage caused to the vessel will be deducted from the security amount up to the limit of this, and if the damages are greater, the provisions of article 4 of this contract will apply.
16. Fuel Refuelling
If, for any reason, the Client is unable to refuel the vessel before its return, ISEA Charter may refuel the vessel on the Client's behalf. In such case, the Client shall be charged the full cost of the fuel supplied, plus a credit card processing fee corresponding to the costs incurred by ISEA Charter for processing the payment. The Client expressly authorizes ISEA Charter to charge these amounts against the security deposit or to the credit card provided as security.
17. It is further stated that the cost of this rental is stipulated in its own price list.
18. The Portuguese version of this agreement always prevails over any other version.
Cancellation Policy
🦠 Flexible cancellation: The owner offers free cancellation up to 15 days before check-in.
Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
Bad Weather Cancelations
If there is an official bad-weather warning issued by the local Capitania that prohibit us to go out or if there is a heavy, constant and permanent rain forecasted for the day, we MAY cancel the boat trip. If this happens, we can reschedule or issue a full refund of the money paid deducted from any fees.
No-shows will be charged the full price
