**Price includes rental of the tube, life jackets, safety orientation, and all required shuttles.**

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to reservation time.
Trip Requirements

All trips require at least 2 people per party.
All participants **must be able to swim** and not be afraid of the water.
Footwear is required.
All participants must be at least 6 years old.
No alcohol is allowed on the river per Virginia State law.
Trip Summary

Groups doing this option can go a second time that same day for no extra charge up until the last tubing shuttle of the day at 4:00pm.

After a quick orientation, we load our shuttle van for a quick 1.5 mile/5 minute drive through the Town of Buchanan to our upstream launch site. At the launch site you will be issued a commercial grade river tube then will walk about 150 yards to the river and self-launch and float back to our shop where your car is parked. Upriver shuttle departs approximately every 30 minutes as needed.

The first half of the trip has really good current with 5 easy class I rapids. The last half of the trip the river slows but still moves without you having to paddle. Unlike many other outfitters, we only supply high-quality vinyl tubes (no truck tubes issued here) with carrying handles and seat bottoms that make sure you don't bump your bottom on your trip.

For those that need it, we provide tie ropes so tubes can be tied together, perfect for groups with small children or groups that want to remain together while on the river.

**MINIMUM AGE**
**All customers must be at least 6 years old. No exceptions due to insurance reasons.**

**SWIMMING REQUIREMENT**
**All customers must know how to swim with out a lifejacket. All customers must agree to wear a life jacket at all times on the river.**

**RECOMMENDED ITEMS**

- APPROPRIATE RIVER CLOTHING - Please arrive dressed ready to hit the river, typically swim suits, T shirts, and quick drying shorts. In cooler weather wear clothing that will keep you warm when wet such as polypropylene.
- APPROPRIATE RIVER FOOTWEAR - Old Tennis Shoes or river sandals with ankle straps (NO FLIP FLOPS OR BARE FEET)
- PICNIC LUNCH
- DRINKS - Be sure to bring plenty to drink while on the river. Make sure to pack non-breakable containers. (No alcohol allowed).
- SUNSCREEN
- LEAVE IN CAR - Towel, Change of clothes, and dry shoes

Bring any necessary allergy or other medications with you on the river that you would not want to be without for a few hours. (Example: Bee Sting kit, Insulin, etc.)

Please remember that all gear you take with you is at risk of getting lost and wet! Outfitter not responsible for any lost items. We stock the majority of these items in our store, so if you forget something you can pick it up when you check in.
