River Tubing in Covington Virginia

About
Tube the normally crystal clear waters of the scenic Jackson River. Take in the great mountain views, excellent current, and fun rapids along the way. Our Trek & Tube experience requires our customers to carry their tube about 0.3 miles (1,200 feet) along the flat graded well developed Jackson River Bike Trail to launch on private property where customers will float back to our shop. This tubing trip requires customers to be in good physical shape able to hike 1200 feet to the put in and be able to step in and out of the tube from time to time depending on the water levels. Customers must also be able to actively paddle their tube to navigate the river channel and gravel bars with out assistance. All customers must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
Duration
This trip is 2.25 miles long and takes about 2.5 hours to complete.

***MINIMUM AGE***
Recommended minimum age for this trip is 6 years old. For insurance and safety reasons minimum age for any river trip is 6 years old. No underage exceptions. Small kids must be in boats with their parents or guardians.

***ALCOHOL PROHIBITED***
To keep all our trips family friendly and to operate with in park limits all trips are alcohol free. Paddle sports and alcohol don't mix.

- Change of clothes left in your car for to use after your trip
- Bagged Lunch / Snacks, many guests bring a picnic lunch and eat on our back deck after their trip.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of our business we require 3 days advance notice to cancel reservations with a refund at customer request. Full refunds always given if outfitter decides to cancel the trip due to unsafe river conditions.
