The first Riverboat Postman started the run in 1910, and the tradition continues today with Hawkesbury Cruises, the current custodian of this fabulous day trip. Our skippers are locals who have lived in the area their whole lives - be entertained by the stories of the river whilst cruising in comfort up this spectacular waterway. Be assured that at least 95% of what they say is true...
Our coffee is real, our tea is hot, and our famous ANZAC biscuits are home-made daily to Grandma's recipe!
We deliver the mail for Australia Post to the settlements of Dangar and Milson Islands, Kangaroo Point, Bar Point, Marlow Creek, Fisherman's Point and Milson's Passage before returning to Brooklyn by about 1.15pm

Booking Notes
***If you are coming by train, please please please double check the timetable the night before as well as the morning of travel.*** The last 6 months have been all over the shop for TransportNSW! Our wharf is right beside the Hawkesbury River Train Station, so it only takes a few minutes to get to us after you alight from the train. ***So long as your train gets in before 10am you'll be absolutely fine!*** And it's definitely the best way to get to us.
If you are driving, please allow plenty of time to find a park when you arrive. ***Aim to be in Brooklyn by 9.30am.**

**Morning tea served on arrival, with percolated coffee, hot tea, and delicious home-made ANZAC biscuits - we would bet you haven't had them like this before!**
**Lunch is served around midday, and consists of a very Aussie Ploughman's-style plate with shaved ham, tasty cheese, tomato, cucumber, carrot, mixed lettuce, pickled onions, fresh Turkish Bread roll, pickles, fruit chutney, butter & Italian dressing.**
**We can cater for the common dietary requirements (gluten free, vegetarian etc) - just let us know at the time of booking.**
**All our boats are fully licensed, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer, or a soft drink, with your lunch. Water is always available at the bar.**
Cancellation Policy
We are happy to rebook or refund your ticket with a ***minimum of 24hrs notice*** - please give us enough time to call someone from the waiting list to take your place if you are unable to join us. We are a small family business, and every passenger makes a difference!
