Learn from the best technique, ocean and wave knowledge, overcome fears with an approach to mindset and knowledge only a professional surfer can unveil, even to a first time surfer. Kids under 7 can have the opportunity to ride on the same board, tandem with Rochelle to give them the firsthand experience of riding waves. We provide you with a soft top surfboard and a leash.

Booking Notes

Aloha and thank you for booking with us at Nukumoi Surf Co. and the Rochelle Ballard Surf Experience. We are excited to share the spirit of surfing and aloha with you! Please meet 15 minutes before the lesson time at Nukumoi Surf Shop at Poipu Beach. One of our sales person will check you in and I will guide your from there. I will see if you need a board to rent and assess the best location to take you for your first time experience or any deeper level and best wave.

IF you are a beginner, once we go over the basics, I will bring the surfboards and direct you to Kiahuna Beach, where you will be surfing. WE DO NOT SHUTTLE YOU TO THE BEACH. BEST TO DRIVE,(2 MINUTE) OR WALK THE BEACH PATH TO KIAHUNA BEACH LAWN, (10MINUTES)

Please remember to use eco/reef friendly sunscreen and a rashguard with boardshorts or swimsuit, and have a beach towel. We carry all of these items and more in the surf shop.
