Important Information

Your safety is our absolute top priority. Because America II (US42) is an authentic working racing yacht and not a standard passenger ferry, we enforce the following safety guidelines to ensure a secure and unforgettable experience on New York Harbor:

Captain's Authority: The Captain is in absolute command of the vessel. For the safety of all passengers and crew, the Captain's instructions must be followed at all times. The Captain reserves the right to alter the route, return to the dock, or refuse boarding to any passenger if they determine it is necessary for the safety of the vessel.

Vessel Accessibility & Mobility: America II is a working sailing vessel with moving parts and an angled deck while sailing. Guests must possess the basic physical mobility to step onto the boat unassisted and move around the deck safely while underway.

Required Footwear: Soft-soled, non-marking shoes (like standard sneakers) are strictly required. Hard-soled shoes, heavy boots, and heels are prohibited as they pose a severe slipping hazard and damage the historic deck.

Responsible Alcohol Consumption: Guests are welcome to bring and enjoy their own non-alcoholic beverages. The Captain reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate the sail early for anyone appearing dangerously intoxicated, without a refund.

Safety Briefing & Equipment: The yacht is fully equipped with US Coast Guard-approved life jackets (PFDs) for all passengers. The crew will conduct a mandatory safety briefing prior to casting off.
Waivers: All guests must sign a digital liability waiver acknowledging the physical nature of this experience before stepping aboard.
