Grab your friends and join our group paddle to run the Lower Salt River with a hassle-free board or kayak rental experience. Don't worry about hauling gear, when all the gear will be set up and waiting for you at the water's edge.
Simply reserve a paddleboard or kayak online or by calling the shop or booking online (dates and are limited) and meet us at Water Users or Pebble Beach (depending on river run start location). Exit with the group at a pre-determined exit point - typically Goldfield or Phon D Sutton Recreation Site. Super Easy! Your confirmation email will specify launch locations.
Things you may see while paddling the Salt River include the Salt River Wild Horses, Bald Eagles, maybe an elusive otters and other cool wild life.
Things to bring:
Tonto Day Use Car Pass or National Parks Annual Pass
Food and drink (lots of water)
Hats, sunscreen
Clothes that can get wet
Sunglasses you don't mind losing.
Paddle Board and Kayak Rentals include paddles and lifejackets.

Booking Notes
**Thank you for choosing Riverbound Sports for your paddleboard and kayak rentals.**
Some things to know:
- Price includes equipment delivery at the designated launch location and collection of all gear at the designated pull out location. Participants will need to provide their own transportation to the river and may need return at the designated locations set for each event. Tonto parking passes are not included and will be required for each vehicle parking in the recreation sites. River runs may begin anytime between 8:00 AM
and 4:00 PM.
- Holiday Weekends- Arrive early as parking lots may close once full.
Things to bring:
- Tonto Day Use Car Pass or National Parks Annual Pass
- Food and drink (lots of water)
- Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses you don't mind losing
- Clothes that can get wet
- Sturdy water shoes - the rocks are slippery)
- Dry bag for personal items you cannot live without - and keys)
Things to leave at home:
- Electronics and valuables
- Your really good sunglasses
- Anything that can melt in your vehicle while you are out having fun!
