Tour Description:
This tour is professionally guided by our certified guides. Designed for all skill levels, our 2.2-mile round trip kayaking tour takes you to “River Gauger’s Station” or “Bob’s Beach,” offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. During the excursion, indulge in refreshing snacks and beverages while learning about the rich history of the Colorado River, Hoover Dam, and the interconnected wildlife ecology.
This all-inclusive tour spans 2.5 - 3 hours, offering an immersive experience from start to finish. Professional photos are included in this option at no additional charge.
You will be given a brief instruction on the proper way to paddle and best techniques on paddling properly. Enjoy scenic views that enchant you the entire way. Paddle where bighorn sheep roam in the canyons, along with Great Blue Herons and soaring Bald Eagles. This is a family friendly tour.

We open early during the summer to avoid crowds, excessive heat and to avoid being turned away from the Park reaching FULL capacity.

National Park Entry Fees / Parking:
• If you plan on visiting Zion National Park, Grand Canyon South Rim, Horseshoe bend or more than 3 National Parks in a year, consider an annual pass.
• Annual National Park Pass covers entry fee
• National Park Entry Fee is $25/Vehicle good for 6 persons. Entry fee includes parking
• National Park Entry fee is $15/per person if being picked up via shuttle
• Active military is free

Itinerary
GUIDED Tours start at 8:30am, 9:30, or 10:30am. Arrive 15-20 minutes early to get fitted for your vest and go through emergency briefing. Choose early if you enjoy a more serene and peaceful tour that avoids the heat, the crowds and prefer quiet time. Choose a later start if you enjoy loud and party crowds.
An early start allows for more time in the water at a relaxed pace. We stop at different scenic points to cool down, rehydrate and re-fuel to make our way back home safely to our loved one's. Remember, this is a family adventure and if you want to have a more "do it yourself" type option, please look into our kayak rentals option. If you want a longer tour you may also wish to consider Emerald Cove which is 4.5 miles roundtrip. This is a kayaking tour for beginners and or individuals who have never kayaked before.

##Tour Duration
• Tours last 2 - 2.5 hours, with an average of 2 hours. Duration depends on group speed, lake activity, and weather.
##What to Bring
• Travel light. Bring sunscreen in summer. We provide snacks and water, but you can bring cold sandwiches or a refillable water bottle.
Guided vs. Self-Guided Tours
• Guided Tour: Includes a certified guide, basic instruction, photos, and area history.
• Self-Guided Rental: Includes a map and stopping points. An instructor helps initially, but you proceed at your own risk. Please note this option is a PROFESSIONALLY GUIDED TOUR.
Pets
• Emotional support animals are not allowed. Service animals need prior approval. Pets (dogs only) require prior approval, a fee, and must be house-trained.
##Weather Policy
• If weather is unsafe, you’ll get a full refund, even within 24 hours. We monitor weather 48-72 hours in advance.
##What to Wear
• Wear beachwear (layered clothing) and sandals or water shoes (optional). Dress comfortably for the weather. Feet and ankles will get wet. We provide sun hats and dry bags.
##Non-Swimmers
• Swimming ability is not required. You must wear a life jacket at all times. Inform us if you can’t swim.
##Wildlife
• High chance of seeing wildlife. Keep a safe distance as they are in their natural habitat.

Cancellation Policy
##General Cancellation:
• You must cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour or rental. Failure to cancel within this timeframe or “no-shows” will result in a full charge for the tour or rental.
##Medical Emergencies:
• If you experience a medical emergency (such as COVID-19, a stomach bug, a hangover, or any serious illness) within 24 hours of your tour or rental, you must provide proof that the medical situation prevented you from canceling within the 24-hour timeframe.
• To avoid being charged the full rate, submit a completed form we provide, signed by a board-certified and vetted attending physician. This form must confirm that the medical issue was severe enough to prevent timely cancellation.
• Ensure you cancel within the 24-hour timeframe if possible and return the completed form within 30 days.
##Airline Cancellations:
• If flight changes or delays prevent you from canceling within 24 hours of your tour or rental, provide a completed form with flight details, original and new departure times, and a clear explanation of how the airline’s issue caused the delay.
• You must prove without a reasonable doubt that the airline’s fault prevented timely cancellation.
##Weather-Related Cancellations:
• If severe weather makes it unsafe to conduct the tour or rental, we will either refund or reschedule at no extra charge. Safety is our priority.
##Attending Guests:
• If you book for others and they do not show up, no refunds will be given for the tour or rental.
• For tandem kayaks, if a booked participant does not show up and we cannot offer a single kayak, no refund or partial refund will be issued. It is your responsibility to cancel within the 24-hour window if necessary.
##Group Bookings:
• For group bookings, please cancel at least 72 hours in advance to avoid full-rate charges for the entire group unless there is an alternate agreement in writing.
##Personal Emergencies:
• No matter how unique the emergency, whether it’s saving the world from an alien invasion with a time-travel device during a solar eclipse, or breeding a rare unicorn on a remote island during a full moon, cancellations within 24 hours will not be accepted, and you will be charged the full rate for tours or rentals.
##Cancellation and Modification Policy for Third-Party Bookings
• For bookings made through “Get Your Guide” or “TripAdvisor/Viator,” please handle any cancellations or modifications directly with the respective platform. We are unable to process these requests. We recommend booking directly with us in the future to save time and money.
Important Information
* For safety, guests over 200 lb (91 kg / 14 st) may be discreetly weighed before launch.
* Guests 6’1” (185 cm) and under: maximum weight is 260 lb (118 kg / 18 st).
* Guests taller than 6’1” (185 cm) up to 6’8” (203 cm): maximum weight is 300 lb (136 kg / 21.4 st).
* Children must be at least 5 years old and weigh a minimum of 40 lb (18 kg / 2.8 st).
* Absolute height limit: 6’8” (203 cm).
* These limits are based on safety requirements, including boat balance and weight distribution at taller heights.
* Guests who provide inaccurate information regarding height or weight, or who exceed these limits at check-in, will not be permitted to participate and are not eligible for a refund.
