Our wildlife viewing and scenic wilderness river float trips in Fairbanks are on Interior Alaska's famous Salmon and Arctic Grayling river, the Chena River. This spectacular State Park area so close to Fairbanks offers guests a grandiose wilderness scenery and a unique wildlife or salmon (spawning) viewing opportunity in just a few hours of a tour (5h round trip fr. Fairbanks). You may observe Alaskan wildlife such as moose, bald eagle, beaver, king salmon, chum salmon, arctic grayling, martin, mink, bear, and waterfowl.

### Hotel Pick-Up Time:
If you selected a Hotel to be picked up at your pick up times depend on the location of your hotel. Pick up times for Hotels on the “west-side” (west of Peger Rd. e.g.: hotels adjacent to Airport Road, Geist Rd., College Rd.) will be 8am-8:15am or 4pm-4:15pm (for afternoon tours); Hotels East of Peger Road (e.g. hotels along down-town, Johanson Expressway, Steese HW, etc.) are scheduled at 8:15am-8:30am or 4:15pm-4:30pm (for afternoon tours). Rest assured we are on our way to pick you up, and will contact you in case there is a delay. You can find the Hotel you selected at the bottom of this confirmation email (scroll to bottom and look where it lists the prices and $ totals)
If you did not select a hotel for pick up and/or selected driving yourself to the river, then follow the instructions below:

### How to dress/what to bring:
Please dress up for the outdoors such as light pants/rain jacket/hat/sunglasses/socks. We recommend also to bring bug spray, photo camera, sun screen and extra snacks.

Tips for your Guides are not included in the price of your tour. Just like any other service in the USA it is common courtesy for guests to tip 10%-20% of your tour value. Please remember to bring cash on your tour. Cash is the preferred method of tip payment to the guide, driver, or any staff that has provided you with great service.
