This trip begins at Denali Park Village in the midst of local lodges. Your river raft will drift slowly away and leave you with an intimate encounter of Denali’s wilderness.
Enjoy the Alaskan splendor as we view the Yanert Fork River merging with the waters of the Nenana River below the Musher’s Monument, a natural rock formation distinctly resembling a musher driving a sled and team of dogs.
While passing by Mount Fellows and Pyramid Mountain, watch for a variety of wildlife and enjoy class II and mild class III whitewater rapids. This trip is perfect for families with small children and those wanting a bit less splash.
Gore-tex dry suits and neoprene booties are provided.

Children must meet the minimum requirements: weight 50 lbs or more and height of 4 feet 3 inches (129.5 cm) or taller.
Guides will perform a final fit check. If the dry suit does not provide a secure, watertight seal at the neck and wrists, the tour operator may need to deny participation on the day of the tour for safety reasons. In such cases, a full refund will be issued. *

In preparation for your rafting adventure with **New Wave Adventures**, we ask that you please have your waivers signed before your arrival. This will provide you a touchless and hassle-free check-in and help expedite the arrival process. It will also give you extra time so you can mentally prepare for the awesomeness that awaits.
**Waivers:** Please go to the link below and fill out your waiver before you arrive for your trip. Each person in your party must fill out a separate waiver before your trip departs.

**What to Bring**
To stay warm and comfortable during your trip, the following items are recommended:
·Non-cotton base layers, like polyester or wool, yoga pants, long johns, or snug-fitting clothes to wear underneath the drysuit
·2 pairs of non-cotton socks to help stay warm (your feet will be dry but, they will be sitting in the bottom of the raft)
·Rain jacket
·Eyeglass retainers like Chums or Croakies

Professional photos will be taken during your trip and are available for purchase as a package for our guests on our website. Photos can also be previewed after the rafting trip at the office.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule the activity for any reason which we hope you don't but will be understanding if you do, you can call 907.888.8385 or email info@newwaveraft.com.
If a reservation is canceled within 48 hours of trip time, NO refund will be given.
For groups of 6 or more, if a reservation is canceled 48 hours before the trip, a refund of 50% will be issued. If a reservation is canceled within 48 hours of trip time, NO refund will be given.
Canceled reservations are subject to a 10% admin fee.
Trips will run in all weather, except lightning storms and extreme downstream winds.
NWA will provide a full refund if we cancel due to safety reasons.
High-water / Wind Policy (Canyon Wave Only) If New Wave cancels a Canyon Wave
trip due to high water, wind or other safety reasons you will automatically be rebooked
to the Wilderness Wave at the same time slot. We will send texts and emails for
notification, but it is always a good idea to call us before your trip.
There will be NO refunds issued after a guest has participated in a rafting trip
