Booking Notes
Thank you for booking with Pineapple Kayaks Kaua‘i 🌴
Please review the following important information before your adventure:
* Guests must arrive at their scheduled check-in time at The Pineapple Store.
* Soft top racks, paddles, lifevests, dry bag, and self-guided maps are included with your rental.
* Staff will assist with kayak loading and rack setup. Setup typically takes 10–15 minutes.
* Guests are responsible for transporting kayaks safely unless hotel delivery service has been arranged.
* Secret Falls access is available Monday–Friday only.
* Please note: The Wailua River launch area currently charges a $15 parking/access fee per vehicle for Secret Falls visitors. This fee is collected separately by the launch area and is not included in your rental price.
* Weekend rentals are recommended for Hanalei exploration and scenic island paddling locations.
* No prior kayaking experience is required.
* All rentals must be returned by 6:00 PM unless otherwise approved.
* We recommend bringing water shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, towels, and a change of clothes.
* Weather and river conditions may affect rental availability or recommended routes.
* Guests are responsible for reviewing and signing all waiver and safety documents prior to departure.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans and weather conditions can change. Please review our cancellation policy below before booking your adventure.
* Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled rental time are eligible for a full refund.
* Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled rental may be subject to partial charges or be non-refundable.
* Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
* Reservations may be rescheduled based on availability and weather conditions.
* Pineapple Kayaks Kaua‘i reserves the right to cancel or modify rentals due to unsafe weather, river conditions, equipment issues, or operational concerns.
* If Pineapple Kayaks Kaua‘i cancels your reservation due to unsafe conditions, guests may receive the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
* Secret Falls access may occasionally be impacted by local regulations, river conditions, or closures outside of our control.
* Hotel delivery fees and third-party booking fees may be non-refundable once services have been scheduled or processed.
* Guests arriving late may experience shortened rental time or cancellation depending on scheduling availability.
* All cancellation requests must be submitted by phone, email, or through the booking platform used for your reservation.

• All kayaks are tandem, and can accommodate up to two (2) passengers - Kayak can be made single for odd numbers.
• Take the opportunity to hike to Sacred/Secret Falls You will need a car to transport the kayak from the Pineapple Store to the launch site
• Guests must be able to carry a 75 lbs kayak to and from the top of their vehicle
