About
A typical 2 hour harbor cruise will pass by Charleston landmarks such as The Battery, Waterfront Park, Historic Castle Pinckney, under the Arthur Ravanel JR Bridge, and out to Fort Sumter where the Civil War Began. You will usually see dolphins playing in the bow wake or feeding in the shallows. If you are an avid bird watcher there are many species to be seen.
Swimming and Floats
During the spring, summer and fall where the water can reach temperatures of 86 degrees, the mornings are calm and less chance of foul weather, this is the best time for swimming! We provide the amazing Sun Chill water hammocks that can hold your entire group safely, you can just lounge in the water with no exertion and without swimming.
Complimentary soda and bottled water are provided. Feel free to BYOB but we recommend catering through Caviar and Bananas, View the menu here Caviar & Bananas Maritime Menu, contact the catering dept. to set up your meal.

Rates
0-9 Passengers $400 per hour
10-15 passengers $600 per hour
16-23 passengers Monday-Thursday $600 per hour
16-23 passengers Friday, Sat, Sunday $700 per hour
A base gratuity of 16% and tax is added to every charter plus 9% tax
Wedding Pickup or Drop Off start at $600 per hour with a two hour minimum. We add a 20% base gratuity and 9% tax.
All charters bookable with a fully refundable 50% deposit. Please call 843-557-7403 to discuss longer charter options, pick up and drop offs or any other ideas you have.

Additional Information
Your Charter fee does not include your food cost or alcohol, additional tip for the Crew or Docking fees at other Marinas. Please keep those additional costs in mind when you arrive for your Charter.
Cancellation
All charters are fully refundable up to 7 days from departure. If you need to cancel please call us and we can issue a full refund.
Within 7 days, a 50% refund will be issued. There is no refund within 24 hours of departure.
If the captain cancels due to foul weather at the time of the charter, you will be given the option to reschedule or a full refund. We always show up to the boat for the charter regardless of the extended forecast, we have to cancel less than 1% of our charters due to foul weather.
Trip Protection (Optional)
Purchasing trip protection allows you to cancel or reschedule your cruise at any time for any reason up to 1 hour prior to trip departure. You will be reimbursed for the full amount of fee less the cost of trip protection, booking and processing fees.
Booking Notes
Thank you for choosing Serendipity, your charter is confirmed. Your Captain and first mate will welcome you aboard. They are not only the yacht crew who are responsible for your safety but also your servers and tour guides. If you have an exceptional time, please thank you're crew with a customary gratuity, they accept cash and Venmo. We look forward to our time with you aboard Serendipity!
**WHAT TO BRING:**
-You may bring any food or beverages that you wish, just no beer bottles. Wine and champagne bottles are fine. We have cups onboard.
-You will be asked to remove your shoes. If the weather is colder please wear boat shoes, non-scuffing white-soled sneakers. High heels, boots and marking soles will not be allowed on board.
-Smoking or illegal substances are not permitted on board.
**WHAT WE PROVIDE ON BOARD:**
-We provide a curated charcuterie board to be shared with other guests, and a champagne or prosecco toast.
-2 Coolers, one with ice cold bottled water and sodas, the other with just ice and is provided for your items if you wish to keep something cold.
**Directions**
Serendipity is located at the Seabreeze Marina, 50 Immigration St Charleston.
Meet in front of the Island Cabana Bar next to our sign that says "Meet here for nightly sunset sail on Serendipity". Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to departure. Youre first mate will meet you there and proceed to the boat 15 minutes prior to departure. If you are running late please call 843-557-7403. The boat always departs on time and there are no refunds for missing the boat.
**Parking**
-Park your own car in the fenced in parking lot just past the stack of boats on the left and walk back around to meet the first mate at the Island Cabana Bar.
-Ubering, If you are being dropped off, have your driver drop you off at the Island Cabana Bar 50 Immigration St.
**Ordering Food and Drinks from Island Cabana Bar**
-They sell cases of beer and bottles of wine that you can bring onboard for your sunset sail.
-If you wish to order food and drinks from the Island Cabana Bar, please arrive at minimum 45 minutes early as they get very busy and food orders can take 30 minutes or more to serve. The boat departs on time so if you order food 15 minutes before departure you will have two choices, board the boat or eat your food and watch the boat sail past from the dock.
**Optional Catering:**
If you are having your trip catered please contact Caviar and Bananas: (843) 577-7757 or visit them online at http://www.caviarandbananas.com and view their online menu. Their beer and wine selections are grocery store priced and the food is the best in town. They can deliver the order to the boat before you arrive, please advise them to bring the food to Serendipity at Seabreeze Marina 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. We do provide bottled water and sodas at no extra charge. We have coolers with on the boat with ice for your things. Its best to make your order 24 hours prior to departure so they can add it to the schedule.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of request for cancellation by the charter guest once paid in full, a full refund will be giving outside of 7 days from the scheduled time. Within 7 days there will be a 50% refund. There is no refund for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled charter. We are charged for each credit charge and refund, cancellations mean we lose out on other charter guests that we turned down because of your booking. However, you may reschedule your charter if you wish with applicable fees.
**Rescheduling Fees**
Charter fees are deemed earned upon placing a hold for desired date and time. Charterer's requests for rescheduling will be considered on a case by case basis and are subject to a rescheduling fee. The rescheduling fee is determined by the amount of notice given prior to the charter date and time and are as follows:
Outside 7 days no fee
Within 7 days of sailing: $200
Within 24 hours prior to sail: No Refund without Trip Protection

Weather cancelations are at the discretion of the Captain only and at the time of the charter. The weather forecasts are never correct, we always show up to the boat and see what the weather is at the time of the charter. First we will postpone if time is available and if the weather is moving off. If conditions do not improve and the captain cancels the charter, you will have the option to a full refund or reschedule if available. We do not cancel charters for light rain or windy conditions.
