Undoubtedly the best way to see the most famous Cambridge colleges in a short space of time, our punting tours typically last around 50 minutes and take you through eight colleges and underneath nine bridges. A TRADITIONAL CAMBRIDGE PASTIME
Did you know that the original punts were used for transporting cargo around the fens? Ideally suited to shallow water, the punt is a flat and square-shaped boat that is pushed along with a pole. In the early 20th century, punting quickly took off as a leisure activity, and has since become an iconic part of Cambridge tradition. Nowadays punting is the most popular way among students and visitors alike to enjoy the peaceful scenery of the college backs. #Departure Point:
The punting tour departs from Scudamore’s Punting Company, Mill Lane, Cambridge CB2 1RS. Upon arrival, please provide your booking name and confirmation details to the staff at the station.
#Cancellations & Refunds Policy:
Cancel 24 hours or more in advance to receive a full refund. Customers must check in on time and at the correct meeting point or risk missing the tour and needing to purchase new tickets. Traffic and train delays (or cancellations) do not entitle you to reimbursement or rebooking. Please allow sufficient travel time and arrive at least 5 minutes early.

Remain Seated: Stay seated throughout the tour to avoid capsizing the punt. Do not switch seats or stand up unless instructed by the guide.
Keep Limbs Inside: Ensure that your hands, arms, and legs remain inside the punt to avoid injury.
Personal Belongings: Keep all personal items secure and within the punt to prevent loss or accidents.
Life Jackets: Life jackets are available upon request. If you are a non-swimmer or feel uncomfortable, please ask for one.
Weather Preparedness: Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella if needed.
Protect Yourself from the Sun: Wear sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, especially on sunny days.
Listen to Your Guide: Follow all instructions given by your guide and adhere to any safety warnings.
