- Explore the waters of Shell Key Preserve while looking for wildlife, taking in the stars, and lighting up the water beneath you.
- After dark, you'll turn on your color-changing, LED lights to illuminate the water below.
- Your 5-star rated eco-tour guide will lead the way on a true adventure through Shell Key Preserve.
- **Sunset tours** stop at the beach but may not paddle through the mangrove tunnel.
- **Glow tours** paddle through the mangrove tunnel but do not stop at the beach.
- Plan on wearing long sleeves and/or long pants, with bug spray underneath your clothing to deter mosquitos.

- Reservations are required for all tours.
- The weight limit is 425 pounds per boat and no more than 250 pounds per person. Each of our kayaks are doubles (tandem).
- Pets are prohibited throughout Shell Key Preserve by order of Pinellas County.
- Alcohol is prohibited throughout Shell Key Preserve by order of Pinellas County.

##Important Information
- Please sign your waivers before the tour (the link is in a separate email with the subject "Action required for your kayak tour").
- Included in the waiver is a [safety video](https://youtu.be/GmEhGwfdWsU) that covers important information required by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. Please watch the video before completing your waivers.
- Plan on arriving 15 minutes before your tour time.
- The paddle will last about 1.5 hours, and we'll be happy to take pictures along the way.
- The tour takes place in the darkness, and there may be some surprise visits from wildlife.
- Lifejackets will be provided and are required to be worn for the duration of the tour.
- While out on tour, for safety reasons, please stay within 100 feet of your tour guide at all times.
- Alcohol and pets are prohibited throughout Shell Key Preserve and on tour.
- **We recommend wearing long sleeves and/or long pants and bug spray to deter mosquitos.** Please apply bug spray before going out on tour.

**Important information regarding our weight restrictions** - For the safety of our guests, we have a weight limit of no more than 250 pounds per person AND a combined weight between paddlers totaling no more than 425 pounds. If the kayak rides too close to the surface of the water and is at risk of taking on water, our guides will restrict guests from paddling, in the interest of safety.
