About
The tour visits Koko Crater in Maunalua Bay. The green sea turtles come here to rest under the ledges and they feed on the algae that grows on the surrounding reef. While you can see them around the ledges and reef, the closest viewing is generally when they come to the surface to breath. Many fish species are also in the area. Your guides will be able to tell you what you are seeing.
The name of the tour is Snorkel with Turtles! Your guides and captain will try their best to help you view them. In fact if no one on the boat sees turtles (hasn't happened yet) we will give you your money back!
The Sea Turtle Conservationist option is regenerative tourism. You will help document and identify the turtles at the sight under the supervision of a Marine Biologist Dive Professional and earn a Sea Turtle Indentification and Population Management certification from Conservation Diver agency taught by marine biologist from Ocean Alliance Project. Conservation Diver is an international organization and you will be able to use your certificaiton to continue monitoring in Hawaii and other locations around the world.

Your guides are experienced Hawaii watermen/women. Besides the instruction and safety they will provide you with, they also have access to large rescue floats you have the option to hold onto. This may be best for people not comfortable in the open ocean. These floats are equipped with underwater propulsion vehicles that can help move snorkelers to the best spots for viewing.

Full refunds are provided with 24 hours notice prior to departure. Refunds are not available after this time.
Cancellations by email must be received 72 hours prior to departure.
For parties of 8 or more a 10% cancellation fee is assessed for cancelations 96 to 24 hours prior to departure.
