- Check In & Safety speech: Arrive to de Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve, Ensenada Yegua in Fajardo Puerto Rico.
- Have Fun! You can explore the reefs of this beautiful reserve for more than 5 hours. Our snorkeling gear is high quality and is disinfected daily. Silicone masks that easily adapt to your face. Snorkel with valve that helps keep salt water out of the mouth. Rubber fins that will help you move better in the water.
- To this experience, a professional team helps with all the questions and gives a map with the best places to visit in this Reserve. Manatees, sea turtles, fish and rays are residents of this Nature Reserve. It is all you need to see the marine world.

- Minimum Age: 5 years old.
- For Beginners.
- The following guests cannot participate: state of pregnancy, guests with recent surgeries, guests with neck, back, arm or leg problems, guests who have epilepsy, heart conditions and/or dizziness.
- Depending on the maritime conditions of the day and the experience of our guests, we can adjust the itinerary and places to visit.

We are passionate about marine-life and eco-tourism and hope that our guests are inspired to make a commitment to protect our oceans and marine-life too. We ask that you do not touch coral, fish, or turtles and please, never feed the fish anything a human would eat. Help our reefs and oceans by using sustainable practices such as reef safe sunscreen, reusable water bottles, and reusable cups.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee the amount or type of fish you will see on our tours. We do not feed the fish to bring them close to visitors. This is harmful to the fish’s natural diet and it interferes with their natural feeding cycles.

Please review the information below before arrival so your pickup is quick and easy.
## 📍 Pickup & Check-In
Please arrive at your **scheduled pickup time** at **Cabezas de San Juan – Ensenada Yegua in Fajardo**.
Allow enough time to park and walk to the rental location. At pickup, our team will provide your equipment, help with basic fitting, and review proper gear use.
Please have your **booking confirmation and a valid photo ID** available.

This is a **self-guided snorkeling equipment rental** and does not include a snorkeling lesson, guide, or organized tour.

• Reusable water bottle
• Small waterproof pouch for valuables

There are **no lockers available**, so we recommend bringing only essential personal belongings.
## ⏰ Equipment Return
**All rental equipment must be returned by 4:30 PM on the same day.**
Late pickup does **not** extend the return time.
Please return all masks, snorkels, fins, and flotation equipment issued with your booking.
## 🌊 Self-Guided Snorkeling
You are free to enjoy your rental at your own pace, but always consider your swimming ability, comfort level, weather, currents, and current marine conditions before entering the water.
Children must remain under **direct adult supervision at all times**.
Marine-life sightings, underwater visibility, and water conditions vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
## 🌦️ Weather & Marine Conditions
Pirate Snorkeling Shack may limit or suspend equipment rentals when weather or marine conditions are considered unsafe.
Please do not assume your rental is canceled based on a weather forecast unless you hear directly from us.
## 🌱 Protect the Marine Environment
Please help us protect Fajardo’s coastline:
• Never touch or stand on coral
• Do not chase, touch, or feed marine wildlife
• Give marine animals plenty of space
• Keep all trash out of the water
• Use reef-safe sunscreen

Cancellation Policy
**Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled rental for a full refund.**
Cancellations made **within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time**, as well as **late arrivals and no-shows**, are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule must be made at least **48 hours in advance** and are subject to availability and any applicable change fees.
Snorkeling gear rentals are subject to safe weather and marine conditions. If **Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe for rental activity**, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our weather policy.
Changes in **water clarity, visibility, currents, marine-life activity, or snorkeling conditions** are not considered operator cancellations and do not qualify for a refund.
Late pickup does not extend the rental period. **All rental equipment must be returned by 4:30 PM on the same day.**
Please do not assume your rental is canceled based on rain, clouds, wind, or a weather forecast unless Pirate Snorkeling Shack contacts you directly.
Important Information
Guests are responsible for using all snorkeling equipment safely and according to the instructions provided at pickup. Flotation support is included, but this rental is self-guided and does not include continuous supervision in the water. Guests should only enter the water when conditions are suitable for their comfort and ability, and children must remain under direct adult supervision at all times. Please use caution on wet, sandy, rocky, or uneven surfaces. Pirate Snorkeling Shack may limit or suspend equipment use when weather or marine conditions are considered unsafe.
