Itinerary
- Check In & Safety speech: Arrive to de Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve, Ensenada Yegua in Fajardo Puerto Rico.
- Snorkeling Lesson: With us, you will learn how to observe the marine life, how to put on the snorkeling mask correctly, breathe through the tube and how to float.
- Experience the Marine Life: Once we have the confidence to continue the adventure, we will go directly from the beach to one of the reefs with an instructor. Once we leave fear behind, the eyes will be open to the abundant marine life. You can dive for a while, at your own pace, without hurry from large groups, with great opportunities to see a variety of fish, rays, octopus and corals, through the calm waters frequented by different marine animals.
- Return to the Shack: After the experience is over, you can return to the water, because this snorkeling lesson includes the snorkeling gear rental until 4:30 pm.

Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee the amount or type of fish you will see on our tours. We do not feed the fish to bring them close to visitors. This is harmful to the fish’s natural diet and it interferes with their natural feeding cycles.

## 📍 Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive **15 minutes before your scheduled lesson** at **Cabezas de San Juan – Ensenada Yegua in Fajardo** for check-in, equipment fitting, and preparation.
Please allow enough time to park and walk to the meeting point. Lessons begin on schedule, and late arrival may reduce your guided instruction time.

There are **no lockers available**, so we recommend bringing only essential valuables.

## 🌊 After Your Lesson
Your guided lesson lasts approximately **1.5 hours**.
After the lesson, you may **keep your snorkeling equipment and continue practicing or exploring on your own until 4:30 PM**, subject to safe conditions.
**All rental equipment must be returned by 4:30 PM.**
## 👨👩👧 Kids & Beginners
No previous snorkeling experience is required.
Children must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian. If anyone in your group feels uncomfortable in the water or needs additional flotation support, please let your guide know before entering the water.

Snorkeling depends on safe weather, sea conditions, and underwater visibility. Your guide may adjust the water session, location, timing, or activities when necessary for safety.
Marine-life sightings and water clarity vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
If Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe to operate, we will contact you with the options available under our weather policy.
**Please do not assume your lesson is canceled based on a weather forecast unless you hear directly from us.**

Cancellation Policy
**Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled lesson for a full refund.**
Cancellations made **within 48 hours of the scheduled start time**, as well as **late arrivals and no-shows**, are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule must be made at least **48 hours in advance** and are subject to availability and any applicable change fees.
Snorkeling lessons are subject to safe weather, sea conditions, and water visibility. If **Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe to operate**, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our weather policy.
Changes to the **lesson location, water session, timing, or activities** due to weather, sea conditions, visibility, or safety are not considered operator cancellations and do not qualify for a refund.
**Marine-life sightings and water clarity are not guaranteed and are not grounds for a refund.**
Please do not assume your lesson is canceled based on rain, clouds, wind, or a weather forecast unless Pirate Snorkeling Shack contacts you directly.
Important Information
A safety briefing and equipment orientation are provided before entering the water. Snorkeling flotation support and required safety equipment are included. Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times and use caution on wet, sandy, rocky, or uneven surfaces. Please notify us before the lesson of any medical condition, injury, mobility limitation, medication, or other concern that may affect safe participation. Weather, sea conditions, and visibility are continuously evaluated, and the guide may modify or stop water activities when necessary for safety.
