About

This is our Moonlight Kayak Tour reimagined. a spectacular way to experience the sights of Melbourne from a unique water level perspective. Melbourne’s Waterways are ideal for new paddlers to experience kayaking
for the first time, or for experienced kayakers to enjoy a stunning paddle through
Melbourne’s scenic waterways. No kayaking experience is needed to enjoy the tour, our
guides will be with you every step of the way. We use a fleet of fiberglass double kayaks,
which are extremely stable and easy to operate.
The tour meets before sunset at Melbourne City Marina, part of the modern Docklands
precinct in the west end of the city. After a short safety briefing and paddling technique
session on dry land we set off for an exploration of the sights in Victoria Harbour before heading out under the Bolte Bridge and up the Yarra River and tie up to a dock with
beautiful sunset views at Yarra’s Edge Marina. The guests stay seated in the boats and are
served fish & chips for a very special “on-the-water” dining experience.
After our meal we continue our tour upstream, through to Melbourne’s lively downtown.
Kayaking past the Crown Casino and alongside stylish Southbank, we time the tour to coincide with the dramatic “Gas Brigades Fire Show”. We continue past Flinders Street Railway Station and beneath historic Princes Bridge before arriving at the approach to Melbourne’s sporting precinct. Enjoy the sights and sounds from your unique vantage point as the sun goes down and the city comes to life.
Our tour ends at Boathouse Drive in front of the Rowing Sheds, right in the heart of Melbourne, and directly across the river from Federation Square.
