Thank you for booking your adventure with SeaLab Charters! We’re excited to welcome you aboard and ensure you have a smooth and unforgettable experience.
Arrival & Check-In
Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure for orientation, a pre-check-in inspection, and a safety briefing.
The boat is docked at Perry Marina & Hotel in Key West. Detailed dock location and parking instructions will be sent in a separate email.
Captain Requirement
This is a bareboat charter, meaning you must provide your own qualified captain.
Your captain must:
Hold a USCG license
Have at least 5,000 nautical miles of experience on a similar or larger vessel
Submit your captain’s information (name, USCG license number, and contact details) at least 48 hours before departure.
Need a captain? Check our list of recommended captains on our website and contact them directly for availability.
What to Bring
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and non-slip footwear.
Any personal medications you may need.
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for sun protection.
Towel and swimsuit if you plan to swim or snorkel.
Snorkeling gear (optional) – we provide gear, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
Onboard Amenities
Fully equipped kitchen – bring your own food and beverages.
Potable water available – we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle.
Bathrooms and showers onboard for your convenience.
Safety & Orientation
A mandatory safety briefing and boat orientation will take place before departure.
You will complete a pre-check-in inspection with the captain to familiarize yourself with the vessel.
Additional Notes
Weather cancellations: In case of unsafe weather, we will coordinate rescheduling or refunds per our policy.

Cancellation Terms
Cancellations 30 Days or More Before the Booking
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled booking will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees.
Cancellations Less Than 30 Days Before the Booking
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled booking, regardless of the reason.
Weather & Safety Cancellations
We prioritize the safety of our guests and crew. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. If possible, we will work with you to reschedule your booking.
