About:
On and off the water Stand Up Paddleboard training that will have you comfortably paddling in no time! Participants will learn the basics of SUP, including equipment overview, paddle, and launch techniques, as well as general safety instruction. Total class time: 30 minutes and includes a complimentary 1-hour rental after class. Minimum of three participants to hold class. Paddleboards will comfortably accommodate new paddlers up to approximately 225bs.

Age Activity Notice
Due to safety concerns, classes and rentals at Wayzata Beach are for individuals age 12+ only (age 12-15 must be accompanied on the water by a parent or adult guardian.) Sorry, no riders.
Renters under age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s signature on the required waiver form. Waiver forms are available through the online booking process or can be provided onsite.
Equipment Notice
Everything you need, we provide. Paddleboards, Paddles, Leashes, and Life Jackets (PFD) are included with every Wai Nani Surf & Paddle rental and class activity. Just bring your smile and a sense of adventure!
Wai Nani Surf & Paddle only uses the best, most enjoyable rental paddleboards around. Our brand new rental fleet is made up of stable 2022 GreyDuck paddleboards that comfortably accommodate paddlers up to approximately 225 lbs. To ensure the utmost safety of our guests, participants MUST be in good physical condition to independently pull themselves up in the event they fall off their board. #Wind/Weather Notice
**Safety First!** Conditions, especially high off-shore wind, can be extremely deceptive for those new to paddleboarding. Wai Nani Surf & Paddle reserves the right to close rental operations in the event of cautious wind (10+ mph) and weather. Please call prior to departing for the beach in the event of questionable wind/weather.
Wai Nani Surf & Paddle will contact renters/class participants a minimum of 1-hour prior to their reservation in the event of a wind/weather cancellation (as determined by the sole discretion of the Wai Nani Surf & Paddle team.) Full refunds will be given for any Wai Nani Surf & Paddle beach closure.

Cancellation Policy
SUP Beginner Clinic Participants will receive a full refund provided a 48 Hour Notice of Cancellation is given or in the event of cautious wind/weather (as determined at the sole discretion of the Wai Nani Surf & Paddle team.)
