What to Bring
Drinking water, sunscreen, bug spray, waterproof camera/phone, with a bunch of friends and family. Tipping your guide is encouraged. Cash is best.
What to Wear
Shoes that will stay on your feet, a hat, quick dry clothing, sunglasses. Long sleeve UV guard and pants are recommended on mid-day and longer trips.

**What to Bring/Wear**
Proper footwear is a must. Bring plenty of water, sun hat, sunglasses, first aid kit, emergency medications, and mineral sunscreen. Secure your phone. Bring a towel and change of clothes.
**Guided Tours Recommended**
Due to hidden dangers and possibly tricky tidal currents, going with a local is recommended. Even a good idea for experienced paddlers—call for a pre-trip planning consultation.
**Preparation & Safety**
- Best paddling time: mid-rising to mid-falling tide
- Beginners must start with a tour or lesson
- To lead groups, anyone born after 1985 needs a valid Florida boater’s ID
**Important Navigation Channel Rules**
Stay out of the Intracoastal Waterway channel unless:
- There is no other open water available due to traffic or obstacles (leave the channel as soon as possible).
- You are crossing the channel quickly, directly, and without blocking other boats.
- There is a life-threatening emergency.
**Essential Safety Tips**
- Always wear a life jacket
- Inspect your kayak and gear
- Paddle with others when possible
- Know how to swim
- Monitor weather
- File a float plan
- Stay aware of surroundings

Cancellation Policy
**Rain or shine!**
Self-serve or cancel by text up to 24 hours out. No refunds with less than 24 hours' notice. Refunds are issued if your guide cancels due to unsafe weather conditions and unforeseeable circumstances. No fee to reschedule or take a rain check day-of **only** if a cancellation notice is texted to (904) 701-3272
