Booking Notes
Enjoy your rental surfboard this week! Please do not drag the surfboard on the ground, this will damage the board. Don't ride too close to shore, the fins are rubber but beware of crashing straight into dry sand. Also, do not to stand on the fins when the board is on land.
Time to shred on your own! On the Isle of Palms it is best to go surfing close to hightide to take advantage of larger wave heights and longer rides. Pickup for surfboards is set for the morning AFTER the last day of your rental, unless you are leaving town then please let us know so we can pickup the surfboard before you are gone!
The customer is responsible for all damage dealt to the surfboard, please treat them with care. If the surfboard is severely damaged you will be charged a fee depending on the level of damage.
These boards are not very easy to damage if you treat them kindly. The fins are the most common part damaged. I am not out to charge anyone unnecessary money, I am simply a small business who relies on these boards being in good shape to upkeep our quality standard.
Damage on the surfboard is as follows but not limited to;
Broken fins// $75 per fin
Punctures on the board// $50-$100 by size/impact
Delamination of the foam// $100-$150 if unusable
Snapped board or buckled board// $150
Anything that allows water into the board or inhibits the ability to ride the surfboard.
We will pick up your surfboard the day after your rental has expired. Please text us with a picture or information of where you will be leaving the surfboard for pickup.
