Booking Notes
Thank you for booking your Serenity River Expedition with us — 4 days, 3 nights on the Whanganui Awa. Please arrive at our Owhango base from 4:00pm the evening before departure for your complimentary night's accommodation (self check-in, late arrivals welcome). Bring a sleeping bag, towel, and personal clothing/belongings — we'll take care of the rest. Please advise us in advance of any dietary requirements, medical conditions, or mobility concerns so we can prepare accordingly. This trip requires a minimum of 4 people to operate; we'll confirm closer to your date if numbers are met or discuss private charter/refund options if not. We look forward to sharing the awa, and the marae along it, with you.
Cancellation Policy
Owhango Adventures recommends that you arrange travel insurance to guard against the loss of costs associated with cancellation or delay of your trip
Customers will receive a 100% refund if more than 48 hours' notice of cancellation is given.
Customers will receive a 50% refund if less than 48 hours' notice of cancellation is given.
Customers will receive a 100% refund if journey is cancelled due to poor weather or conditions.
Customers will receive a 100% refund in Medical Circumstances that prevent a customer from being able to complete a journey. Must be accompanied with a medical certificate and requested within two weeks of the certificate being issued. A medical refund will cover the person named on the Medical Certificate and one support person.
