This tour belongs at the top of your bucket list! The Mokulua Islands are iconic and frequently photographed, but remain elusive for visitors due to a limited number of permits. We are proud to share this privilege with a few lucky guests.
*Perfect for the adventure-minded. Beginner kayakers can join if they are fit and comfortable in the ocean. We welcome families with children 13 years and older, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in a double kayak.

Tour Details
The authentic Kailua kayak tour (5-Hours) will have you understanding what all of the fuss is about. This is our recommended tour for athletic or experienced kayakers to get to see all of what Kailua has to offer including the sea-bird sanctuaries and Lanikai’s picturesque white-sand beach. Snorkel with your guide in the live coral reef inside Kailua’s turtle feeding grounds and enjoy our tropical paradise.

* Minimum age 13 years for group tours, 8 for private.
* Ages 8-16 must ride in a double kayak with a parent or guardian.
* Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
* All Participants must be able to swim with a flotation device. No exceptions.

Kailua Beach Adventures is the most complete water sports company in Hawaii with an emphasis on improving stewardship for our natural environment through education and enjoyment. We provide kayak rentals and guided tours, snorkeling rentals, stand up paddle boards, and beach activities. Our shop is located one block from Kailua Beach Park with free parking, showers, locker rentals and dressing rooms for your convenience. Kailua Beach is located in a small beach town on the lush, eastern shore of Oahu, 30 minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki Beach.

##What to Bring (We have these items available at a special discount in our shop):
>• Swimsuits: guests should wear their swimsuits under their clothes at time of pick-up. Get ready to get wet.
• Water: We are eco-friendly so feel free to bring a re-usable water bottle. You will be able to fill it with fresh water at check-in.
• Sunscreen: We strongly advise the use of reef-safe sunscreen and body care products during your visit to our environmentally delicate marine area.
• Shoes: Slippers (i.e. flip flops, thongs, etc.) are ok, but water shoes or sandals are better for walking around the sharp, rocky, islands. Discount offered on this item in our shop
• During the winter months, bring a long sleeve shirt, light jacket or rain jacket.
• Camera: bring a camera or cell phone. Water-proof cell phone pouches are available for purchase upon arrival. Discount offered on these items in our shop. Dry bags are included in the tour.
• Dry change of clothes and towel for showering after the trip.
• Cash/Credit Cards: we provide free lockers for valuables. Our shop carries many of the above items and last minute add-ons for the trip as well as one-of-a-kind souvenirs. It is also customary to tip guides for great service.

Kayaking is a physical activity that does require a moderate level of fitness. Deliveries to/from Kailua Beach Park are not permitted. You must transport them via cart to the beach (5-10 min walk). Please follow our guidelines on how to center the kayaks on the carts and you will find carrying them very easy!

Cancellation Policy
# TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
**Outside of 48 Hours of your Activity:**
- Cancellations are eligible for a 100% refund.
- Reschedule for free.
- Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times.
**Within 48 Hours of your Activity:**
- Cancellations will incur a full charge or a $25/Person fee to reschedule (unless you have purchased Trip Protection.)
- Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times at the $25 fee each time but will no longer be eligible for refunds.
* Groups consisting of 14 participants or more and/or customized activity packages require 7 days notice of cancellation to avoid a 50% charge and may incur additional fees based upon arrangements.
**All contentions will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the management. If you have any questions or concerns with this information, contact the manager before booking.**
There is a 2-Person minimum for group tours. We will help to coordinate with other guests as needed.
