At Hacienda Carey, the safety and well-being of every child and guest are at the heart of everything we do. Our farm programs are designed to deliver an enriching and joyful experience while maintaining the highest standards of care, supervision, and cleanliness.
All activities are led and supervised by trained educators and staff. Children are guided throughout the experience, especially during any interaction with animals. Horses and farm animals used in our programs are calm, well-socialized, and handled with care. Before participating in hands-on experiences like grooming or feeding, children receive clear instructions on safety and respectful behavior around animals.
Our facilities and activity zones are routinely cleaned and inspected. Play and learning areas are structured and fenced to ensure a safe, contained environment. We have emergency protocols in place, and first aid supplies are always readily accessible.
Parents or guardians are responsible for informing us of any health conditions, allergies, or dietary needs their child may have. Light snacks and water are provided during the experience, and shaded rest areas are available to ensure everyone stays hydrated and comfortable.
While our activities are open to most children, we recommend that guests with severe allergies to animals or environmental triggers notify us in advance. Pregnant guests or those with medical concerns are advised to consult with their physician before participating in physically interactive activities.
